He isn't the first and won't be the last Jew that flees the US to avoid prosecution. Lots of this happening over the years from low level petty crimes to this. They get a pass and we have always allowed it so we can maintain our strong ties with Isarael.

It's been an unknown-known for a while that Israel is so keen on protecting their own, they will harbor pedos with an Israeli passport, with no extradition and no punishment. So this is just par for the course.

No, pointing out someone who is Jewish/Israeli got arrested is not anti-Semitic.

If he said that he was soliciting young girls because he is Jewish, thus implying that all Jews are child molesters as was already done on this thread, that would be anti-Semitic.

But of course the usual suspects have already made actual anti-Semitic posts on this thread.

Lastly, one one seems to have asked the question, other than Hawg, if the guy had diplomatic immunity. If he did, then nothing the US can do except kick him out. Countries rarely wave diplomatic immunity.

I think one can still note that an individual Jewish person was caught doing something bad. However, any critique of the modern nation state of Israel, is indeed antisemitism.
