Heres a name for a rising Democrat everyone should be aware of.

He is my state rep. He fits a perfect mold for a future big time democrat politician.

He was a teacher, pastor, ran a non profit and now is a Texas rep. He is a smooth talker, well educated, young (36) and generally seems like a nice guy. He's got a degree in politicis, a masters of education and divinity.

He was recently on Rogan and Rogan encouraged him to run for president.

Talarico is the democrats answer. He's got the standard socialist/populist bent necessary to win democrats primaries, he speaks in grandiose terms, seamlessly intertwining broad high moral themes, he speaks to the liberal Christian wing, he's young and not unattractive and he is a poc(debatable, i always thought he was hispanic, but i appear to be incorrect). He doesn't come across as a swarmy politician like beto or Newsome.

His belief system is no doubt radical- pro socialist, pro trans, pro big govt. He's not all that different than AOC, but seems to be quite a bit more intelligent.

Conservatives need a good counter. People are getting pretty tired of the same ol same ol, especially with the influx of east and west coast 30-40 year olds in our urban areas.

He has an interesting background family wise, and he is very well spoken. He is everything Beto wishes he was. Like OP said, AOC but way more intelligent.

We have to stop looking for fakes like Dan Crenshaw, and people that only appeal to the MAGA crowd. A true fiscal conservative that could get suburban moms to come out and vote and one who would stop harping on weed, abortions, and trans would do wonders for the future of Texas.

He said the specifications on which id is accepted is a huge burden and disenfranchise young and poor voters because it's too much to get a driver's license.
