Economics? Schools aren't teaching basic math any longer.

It seems that politics, particularly on the local level, doesn't attract our 'best and brightest.'

Local elections tend to be poorly attended, and the people who are elected spend money faster than an 8-year-old at the carnival who is given a $20 bill and told to make it last all day.

Yet NYC will most likely elect a full blown commie to be its next Mayor. A guy who literally said we should abolish private property, which is the cornerstone of Marxism. A guy who wants to freeze rent, provide free mass transit, free child care and create gov run grocery stores.

They will never run well because too many demand free stuff. It won't just be a few items but the entire dang store. And they know it.

This is the perfect encapsulation of what happens when RACISM/CAPITALISM gets pounded on poor urban voters incessantly to get/keep Dems in office. They come up with stupidity like this, they get their idiot media members to run with it, then get all kinds of excitement until it cannot compete or keep up with the other grocery stores that run on profits. Then you get an Eastern Bloc style grocery store. And all of those citizens that voted for this mess cannot understand when it fails spectacularly, yet nothing can be done but watch it fall apart and cost you so much more than it ever would have if you had not bought into the propaganda. Alas, especially in urban areas, the education sucks, the police are being made impotent or even the enemy, and the entire are just gets worse. And stays that way in perpetuity, as the minorities there will only vote for people that look and sound like them.

I remember the members of Bolshoi ballet stocking up on items like the second coming was happening back in the early 90s when the dance troop was here. They had never seen something like the mall or Albertsons.

One member was sending back items for his pregnant wife that they couldn't get at home.

It's worse than that. Besides "Globalize the Intifada" the commie/muslim has also stated many times that "we must seize the means of production" which is literally foundational to the communist manifesto.

All they need to do is put more money into it. That fixes everything. (Right libs?)

1. Lock up the thugs
2. Sell only raw staples
3. Get off your ass and cook your own meals
4. Go to work and then drive in the car you bought to a store to buy prepared meals with the money made from work.

But for the record; Houston DOES NOT have a commie mayor. Whitmire is far from that and is one of the few (D) I'd ever consider voting for. He is fixing the crap that Turner did.
