Let me come back to something. I started a thread years ago, entitled, "Let's Talk About Perkins, Coie".

In that thread, I named several of the clients that same firm represented. Not only Hillary 2016 campaign but the DNC, Obama Foundation and myriad other entities connected directly with Obama. Other notable clients were Google and Crowdstrike, before Crowdstrike went public and IIRC, Google was a sizeable shareholder in Crowdstrike.

This really sums it up:

Obama isn't going to jail. Anyone claiming otherwise is either grifting for clicks or doesn't know what they're talking about. But that doesn't change the core truth: there has to be accountability. Someone high up on the food chain needs to pay, or the next Obama will have a whole new crew of eager helpers lining up to do it all over again.

My understanding is that if Comey is charged under RICO statutes, the statute of limitations basically restarts with the latest criminal act by a co-conspirator since all the individual crimes are considered part of an ongoing criminal conspiracy.

The only glimmers of hope I have here are 1) Trump really does hold a grudge and goes after anyone that attacks him directly and 2) he probably learned that going easy on people (Hillary) didn't buy him any political favors.

Ongoing criminal conspiracy against rights

Right when undeniable evidence of Democrat sedition and treason is discovered and revealed is when Republican spines turn to the jelly we have become well used to.

Would need to see exactly what the legal theory is and the facts alleging support for that theory to assess if the SOL bar prosecution. There is a potential to invoke RICO but as we have seen, those cases can be problematical in structure and strength of the overall case.

So I am reserving any declarative statements on what may or may not be time barred at the moment.

We'll see what, if anything, comes from this.
