There's a difference between family retaliation, and fearing that she will screw stuff up because of the problems between her dad and Trump. Not saying either is the case but who knows.
Doesn't pass the smell test. There's nothing preventing them to assigning her to lower profile cases, unless it's something performance based. So far, we don't have that.
