It has been a bit murky with off the cuff comments and posts (ie MIGA), but today a clear ask and answer at end of this clip.

She says Rubio and Trump believe regime change is in hands of the people of Iran, not the US. Let's hope that doesnt include billions of our tax dollars in aid. The Israelis and EU can foot the bill if they need assistance. We did our part with the bombers.

I don't care if the Iranians change their leadership.

When the administration gets onboard with regime change, the negotiations are failed and unsalvageable.

Yep. I don't care who it is as long as they stop causing problems for us. If the Iranians want a change, they can put in the effort.

Hope this is truly the stance of POTUS but also wouldn't be surprised if he truths out he supports regime change by the end of the day.

It's either:

- death to infidels and women in chains

Or

- men in drag and in women's bathrooms.

I listened to it, and the answer is actually pretty evasive. It's a generic statement that doesn't really take anything off the table.

Still, I suspect that you're right. Trump doesn't want to deal with regime change in Iran. Who could blame him? If he can't have a big, beautiful nuclear deal that wins him a Nobel peace prize, then he'll just kick the can down the road. That's not a bad thing.

When you put it like that, drag queens don't sound very scary.

Honestly, every leader of Iran that pushes this regime should be executed.

Flat out.

Clean slate, start over.

Who says drag queen are scary?

They're not appropriate to be around children or groom them.

It's not even that hard.

I find it hard to believe the cia can't take out the whole group of mullahs tomorrow if they wanted to.

Yes, that would make Israel safer, but there's probably no money in it. If we destroy the country and send in troops, then defense contractors and international corporations are free to loot and pillage.

Iran has a long history of other countries interfering in their leadership, going back to the 1920s. They are more resistant if the notion comes from outside as a result.

Having said that, Iran's neighbors very nearby can work behind the scenes and I am not talking about Mossad. Although Mossad could help, if asked nicely...by a regime they could trust. Maybe Egypt?

Can you see into the future and tell us who is in charge? Because the US track record in regards to regime change is pretty ****ty. Does regime change end with a Constitutional Republic with representative government and a free market economy or do we get Al-Qaeda/Taliban/more radical Islamists?
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.

I agree that they have to do it, but you ought to care. Cause of it remains the current crew, they WILL continue causing problems for us.

They've sworn to do it.

This is back to Trump messaging
You can't get on 'truth social' talking about regime change and then not expect people to talk about how you talked about regime change.

He's right, regime change is dirty and nothing we should be involved in, so don't tweet or whatever about it. You're the President, you can't expect people not to talk about what you say:

You should. It will directly effect whether or not they try to build a weapon again moving forward.

But that's in the hands of the Iranian people. Us installing a government will only foment more chaos and resentment than it eliminates long-term.

The fact that the Mossad hasn't done this (yet) tells me that it's either a bad idea to do so and/or it's not so easy after all

The former is my guess. Don't know who who become the new leader, a viable alternative.

If the Mossad wanted to take Khamenei out, they could do so.
