A couple of comments for you. First, so much is going on in the political arena right now with the Iran situation, deportation, demonstrations, democrat hissy fits, etc., that it feels a bit awkward posting this thread, but then again, maybe it's needed. I'm just saying after last night's news, it just seems awkward. None-the-less...
Second, I originally wanted to tell you that, to me, preparing and presenting the Sunday Funnies reminds me of my days in grade school and high school, where I had to prepare an essay. The analogy is this: If I wait until Saturday evening to lay out the Funnies, it reminds me of last-minute homework (such as writing an essay) that is due on Sunday morning. Well, I learned my lesson (finally) by getting this thing lined up on Thursday or Friday evening so that I don't have to sweat it at the last minute. [The memes are set days and weeks in advance. My job is to organize them in a neat fashion, add a few, remove a few]
And third, last week's Funnies were so well received (Father's Day) that I don't think today's offering measures up to it based on the history of this running thread. I like what's here and I hope you like it too. Last week's Funnies were just kind of special, so don't be let down by this edition. I think you will enjoy it just the same.
