Cali and NY alone would lose somewhere between 10-20 house seats for the Dems if illegals were removed before the next census

This goes counter to their plan of giving illegals mass amnesty (already being proposed by some Dems in their panic) and using them to gain one party rule forever

It's no wonder they're using a campaign of fear to try and get the public to help them resist

Government swimming lessons? Yeah... That's gonna be another hard pass from me.

The number of cities in America that offer swim lessons rounds to all of them. It's a pretty short walk from having popular things like parks and playgrounds and pools to teaching kids the important life skill of how to use them. A really odd thing to hate on, if you ask me.
Maybe (granted I don't have kids, but even so that doesn't change my opinion)... I see it as not trusting any random kid they hired for the local pool to teach my kids something that can absolutely cost them their life. I used to be a lifeguard at a city pool; one of the smaller independent municipalities around Houston. We had some damn good lifeguards and some that I wouldn't trust to stare at dog ****. The city that I worked for did offer swim lessons. They weren't free, it was $10/half hour and was independently arranged between individual guards and their clients. The city only facilitated it and let the clients into the pool for free for the lessons. Some guards like myself quickly became recommended and stayed busy stacking side cash. Others well... Did not find their services to be in high demand.

Are there probably some folks in that City program that absolutely would be great swim instructors? Oh I'm sure of it. There are great teachers in some public schools as well. But overall I think many would agree that public schools are a disaster.

It was a half serious, half sarcastic comment that I now find myself baited into justifying. Like all things in life you get what you pay for, and sometimes the necessary quality comes at a price. Swimming lessons are certainly important and I hope those involved seek quality.
Not everyone has access to private lessons at the country club pool. Easy access to lessons for the general public at municipal pools seems like a good idea to me.

Community pools and swim lessons have been a thing forever. They should continue to be a thing.

And as pointed out, the city is doing a great disservice to their residents in order to make a political statement.

Fear of ICE and deportations is going to cost the liberals in Denver's city government dearly. I'd say Abbott was successful in bringing the problems to these liberal cities doorsteps. No Federal dollars should go to these resistant cities.

The feds should be flooding social media with false sightings of ICE. Have the loonies running all over creation until fatigue sets in.

It's summer, so all the students and teachers are off and have all the time in the world, so they'll need to keep doing it well into the fall. Then the fatigue will be unavoidable.

The liberal Democrat way. Punish the kids, to honor your idiotic Pelosi Hat temper tantrum.
Then, when Necessary they get up before a microphone
And cry, What about the children?

Yes!! This is BS. Kid has more chance of getting hit crossing street than something happening to them from ICE.
Are all leaders in California such wimps? Ain't a chingon in the bunch. Gotta hand it to libs- yall took the macho out of Hispanic men. Such juevones.

I feel like this is less to virtue signal or help illegals, and more to give people a fear of ICE, and the feeling that Trump is intruding on their everyday lives. Make ICE feel like Trumps secret police that should be feared and avoided at all costs, whether or not you're a citizen.

Or it could be if ICE does its job even with voter theft they have no chance to gain power which has been goal all along. Pansy soy boys and woke women have no business running the world number one power. Just face it liberals are scared they will never win again and let's face it why would they when they are owned and operated by Jerry jones types. Death to the woke movement. Use what ever excuse you want let's deport them all. Time to make America great again.

I think you will see this type of stuff on a massive scale to cause more anti-ice sentiment. Just waiting for a Taylor Swift at Griffith Park free concert to be announced. A week out cancelled due to ICE raids being planned.
