Cadet 2nd from right appears to be an Air Force contract. Also some D&C cadets. So it's definitely a smattering. Not sure which outfits or how it was decided

The other military schools wore their dress uniforms. I wish that A&M would have at least worn summer A's.

I know the Army's role is to fight and not be a decoration, but most of the units looked like they hadn't practiced marching at all. Out of step, head bobbing, poor dress and cover. The military schools all looked polished and precise.

Ags looked good Regular Army guys need to work on their marching skills
In their defense they had to march very slowly and hard to be sharp marching at less than a brisk pace

I noticed this as well and came to the conclusion that our Army is a fighting force and not a marching one.

Knowing how to march is part of good order and discipline which is obviously lacking along with looking fit and meeting height weight standards. Sloppy showing from the top down by the regular army.

Yea, once you're out of boot camp for a bit, dont expect any kind of good drill from Marines unless your MOS depends on it (Body Bearers, Band, etc.). With or without crayons.

Your average marine may not be 8th &I caliber when it comes to marching but I've never seen any marine unit, look as sloppy as some of the army units in this parade.

Armies no longer form squares, lines, marching columns and attack columns,. Marching discipline will not win modern wars.

Attention to detail does

Maybe they are locked in on everything else
I attribute to them looking so disorganized to the very slow pace they had to march because the equipment was traveling at slower than a normal walking pace

I don't know if class A summers even exist any more. Don't think I've seen them in at least a decade .
