The gangs are also affiliated with ISIS

Reminds me of the time when Netanyahu had a Qatari diplomat driven into Gaza to bring suitcases full of cash to Hamas. Look at how that turned out.

I think he is an expert in what his country needs to defend itself, and I am not going to judge his culture.

Ben should have gone in retirement after lying our congress into war with Iraq. We need to stop funding his war games.

"Residential"

"Aid"

Frankly: this is all so messy and reporting so propagandized that I don't much care. If Jews are perpetrating evil; they'll answer to Jesus in this life or the next. If Muslims are perpetrating evil; it's a day that ends in a y.

Surrounding Muslim nations can end the plight of the palestinian tomorrow if they cared one iota.

Israel is our friend and it is important to have a sane, democratic ally in the region. That being said, Netanyahu has not been a good representative for Israel for quite some time now. Which is why he's not even particularly popular with his own people.

Just checked.

This is Gaza which is in the country of NotAmerica.

Therefore, my level of give a **** went from zero to less than zero. It actually divided itself by zero.

Let me know when this Net Yahoo guy arms gangs in America.

The interesting thing about this situation is watching the far left and the far right join hands in their dislike of the Jews...

So he's arming gangs to steal the food that would otherwise be stolen by hamas? Lesser of two evils, maybe. Emphasis on "maybe". Sometimes a story doesn't have any heroes.

HAMAS already steals the food, so nothing has changed

Right now the Palestinians play Hamas' game or they starve to death. Netanyahu is trying to give the people the ability to stand up to Hamas. It probably won't work but that seems to be the strategy.

Yep. It didn't work so well with the mujaheddin, Arafat, the Iranian mullahs, ISIS/ISIL, various Sunni militia groups in Iraq, Al Sadr, various Somalian islamic warlords, assorted Afghan groups, Libya, or countless other places but this time maybe Netanyahu will find the right islamic thug leaders to bring some religion of peace calm.

Good luck to him. Whatever, I couldn't care less about Gaza.

Israel has to fight fire with fire and be creative. Their neighbors are a credible existential threat to them 24/7.

I'm going to guess he is sponsoring Palestinian political rivals to Hamas and since Hamas is ultra violent, their opposition will almost necessarily have to be violent as well, unfortunately. I imagine it is fight over who controls the aid distribution, Hamas, or these opposing Palestinian groups, as they struggle for power and influence.

Smart play by Israel. They KNoW they can't bargain with Hamas. If they can get the Palestinians to fight each other and a new political power emerges, MAYBE that power will be willing to be more reasonable. Nothing to lose.

And people seem oblivious to the fact that Nethanyahu is all that is standing between the radical left and permanent power in Israel. Judges have seized almost all the power there, just like they are trying to do here. Nethanyahu is their Trump. Israel is in bad shape, politically without Nethanyahu.

90% support Hamas so it won't work
