Ugh, I hope this doen't catch on. The consistent threats leading to event cancellations could be more disruptive to our way of life than an actual isolated attack or two imo.

This is a 100% correct. According to Hollman there are north of 375K on known terrorist watch lists in this country that were documented and released with Ankle monitors that they immediately removed. Then there are those 2 million chinese that came in and were released. and as wide open as it was for four years there's no telling who the million gottaways are. None of the millions that claimed asylum were vetted so no telling who they really are.

Unless someone or some company offers to do this for free, the cost of it is part of what caused them to cancel the event. The threat of violence and the cost of the required security to prevent it made holding the event impossible, even if the venues hadn't canceled.

The FBI should be hunting down the individuals and groups that made these threats and putting them in jail or at least warning them. Their actions and threats are abridging other's right to free speech and to peaceably gather.
