How long do you want to ignore this user?
If state level judges are voted in for short terms, why not change the process to elect federal-level district and appeals court judges, or at least limit their terms? The current federal lawfare state needs to be changed.

Elected judges at the federal level would also be a disaster. 10 year terms would be acceptable.

I think elected and lifetime appointments are equally bad.

Do it like SC does for their state judges. They are elected by the legislature for 6-year renewable terms. I'd take many SC state judges over most of the federal judiciary any day.
