Grading for Equity, aka lowering the standards!

This will:

-Eliminate homework (not counted, so its essentially optional)
-Eliminate weekly tests (you can have them but they won't count on the grade)
-Allow for late assignment hand-ins
-Allow students to skip class without affecting grade
-Make getting an "80" an "A"
-Allow students to pass with as grade as low as "21"

They won't make students work in their colleges either.

It's all fun and games for us to point and laugh at until these people reach voting age and another group of idiots buys their votes by passing a law that makes it illegal to fire them.

Sadly, the state of Texas has been doing that with the state mandated testing since inception with several of the tests. When the new STAR tests stated, the passing grade was equivalent to 30-40% for the Algebra 1 test.

Why California is using it for their high school standards is…interesting. If you compare their (California) passing standards to what is needed for No Child Left Behind Act, maybe this is the only way they can still receive federal funding. Sad state of education for that state in any metric.

And in liberal logic……. Since the private schools that crop up have highly intelligent kids, it's time to regulate them with laws!!

I googled "equitable grading" and the educrats that support it our hilarious. They actually claim it's more rigorous than traditional grading. They have an amazing way of communicating without actually saying anything of substance.

Is there a provision to kick a state out of the union?

We know they can't up and leave, but we haven't yet tested a means of a supermajority of the other states booting out the absolute worst state regarding its idiocratic policies and dimwit narcissistic majority electorate.

Why even call it "school" ... that's unmanageable chaos.

Why have teachers and admin.?

Issue a tablet and tell the kids... "good luck... you're on your own."

They should implement this in sports too.

If you are an affected minority, you don't have to come to practice, but you must be allowed to play in games. But, only at minority majority schools.

That way, the California state champions from every sport will be predominately white schools.

Sounds like they are just prepping their kids for futures at Harvard.

Anyone that gives a **** about their kids will leave this state. That is probably the plan. They truly want the stupid and worthless living there.

Just another means to maintain a class of democratic voters.

Parents who understand the need for a quality education will supplement extra learning to mitigate the new low standard.

Meanwhile, minority's , single parent homes, low income families are generally at risk for lower academic performance will suffer.

This is all by design. Has zero to do with doing what is right as it does with maintaining power.
