What's sad about so much of the news these days, is there's no way to know what's real or what's important or what's supposed to be taken seriously.

Maybe this really is a bad disease? Who knows.

I know. It's not

It's with us forever. It's the same thing as the flu

We've always had coronavirus and we always will. Coronavirus is just one of the many viruses that cause the common cold:

Quote:

Coronavirus. This group of viruses is common in people and animals. They were discovered in the 1960s. Some kinds only cause mild cold symptoms, but a newer kind, SARS-CoV-2, causes COVID-19. A coronavirus strain is most likely to cause your cold in the winter and early spring.

Currently available Coronavirus test kits are non-specific for COVID-19 and will give a positive result for any strain of the virus. Like the previous poster said, it's the same thing as the flu. People get the flu every single year, but it's only certain strains that need to be treated more seriously.

The left are going to try desperately to get us into a new pandemic. But they shot their wad with covid. I don' think the American public will ever fall for anything like that again...I hope...

Well, they are viruses. So are rabies, ebola, marburg, and hantvirus? Are they all the same thing as coronaviruses?

It saddens me when I see these crazy people STILL masking their small kids on airplanes. It's borderline child abuse. Maybe not even borderline.

Zero posts on the Covidian board about this.

I'm curious if the posters there are candidly acknowledging to themselves that they were ******ed.

The last post, for what its worth, was 8 days ago from our favorite conservative eric76

I saw idiots In the airport this weekend with mask on again, but very few. People generally looked at them like " you are probably an idiot"
Saw a 20 year old with a N95 mask at the Denver Airport.

She was wearing a shirt that said "Just Breathe".

I think we need to address the REAL Coronavirus…..this stuff is sold and marketed for adults.. It creates headaches, decreased cognitive function, and nausea.

And there is only one treatment for it…

I've had people tell me they won't drink Mexican beer because it's made with Mexican water.

So I guess that means we need the next new 'safe and effective' treatment right?

Chicken noodle soup and sugar free gatorade.

Add Zofran to that list. Family had covid back in feb (yes actual covid and not flu, not strep, not rotavirus, not norovirus, etc). The variant that was going around apparently is known for extreme nausea and vomitting. That was horrible experience. As a parent that can't be down for the count zofran is a must

So, I got the 'vid over the weekend. Or at least I was running a fever and I've lost my sense of smell. I managed to somehow overcome death and am now back at work.

Anyway, everyone is all "Oh, did you get tested?". I can't possibly imagine any reason for doing that as I pretty much knew I was already sick.
