"... was out on bond with Dallas County on felony offenses that include Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (3 counts), Burglary of a Habitation Intend other Felony (4 counts), Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts), Evading Arrest, and Driving while Intoxicated."

Whoever set his bond(s) needs to be charged with murder.

Victim should sue the judge civilly.

mugshot looks like most liberals trying to earnestly defend deportation of ms13 gangbangers on the internet.

A dozen felonies? Is that a lot?

Muh due process. amiright?

That'll be tough considering they are dead. What an infuriating story to read and way worse should happen to the judge.

It should be fairly easy to get criminal illegals deported out of Texas. Can't ICE just grab them in court and in jail and ship them out to ElSalvador's maximum security prison

Every mugshot should have the Judge next to the perp.

Actually they should make them take the picture together.

Unfortunately, we didn't only lose an innocent woman, but now we're going to be on the hook for this guy for the rest of his life. There's no way they deport instead of charging him.

if you can't do anything to these judges who are doing this on purpose someone should start a billboard campaign all over texas and show a picture of the judge and criminals they let free. somehow their name should be so tarnished they change or feel so unwanted they are ran out of town. these judges have to be made to feel uncomfortable, legally of course.

He shouldn't have been released, ridiculous. But I can't find anything that says he is illegal.

I can think of a $0.25 solution, but libs don't like it.

I looked him up in the Dallas County court records and didn't see any open cases other than a couple of misdemeanors. If this is the same guy, his felonies look like they were back in 2018 and the cases had already been closed. His name is Llonis Arevalo if someone wants to take another shot at finding something on him. On my phone so difficult for me at this time.

I can't speak for other libs, but I don't like it because it would be a massive violation of the US Constitution. I also wouldn't want to see you executed for murder.

Execution is neither cruel (though it could be, admittedly, and that's not justice) or unusual.

There's nothing in the Constitution that prohibits it, either explicitly or implicitly.

Unless you're talking about capital punishment for something other than murder like manslaughter or criminal negligent homicide, then I might be inclined to agree.

No, just crossed wires. I read your post as offering to take care of the situation.

Edit: I completely agree that capital punishment doesn't violate the Constitution, just so we're clear. I don't believe it should be used, but that's a totally different discussion.

Did Dallas County dist. attn. John Creuzot have a say in this ?

I know Creuzot is suing Ken Paxton because he doesn't want Paxton to have a say in how the district attorney should run his office (aka not prosecute alleged criminals)

I was told once that judges pretty much have to follow guidance that require things like the issuance of bond except in very limited circumstances.

Of course, I might have been told wrong.

Why is the default position in our CJ system to release violent criminals? Cops are getting them in jail, but judges refuse to keep them in there and suffer zero consequences for it.

Anybody else looked up his criminal history? I'm still not finding anything that verifies what the article says. He has no pending cases in Dallas County other than a couple of misdemeanors. A far cry from being out on bond for violent felonies as most people were reactive to.

Maybe the article was written by someone who was looking for a response instead of telling the truth?

Felonies may be in adjacent counties or other counties...

Or not recorded as of yet.

I think the term is "Dallas Father." He's had cases all over the metroplex going back to 2019, and his status as 'out on bail' from felony charges in Dallas County is also confirmed by the CBS channel.
