As unorganized and cowardly as the Republicans are, the Democrats do seem to be doubling down. Article in WSJ runs through all of the elderly folks they have in Congress - significantly more than Republicans - and the Democrats are having an age crisis where they want the olds out and replaced with younger people.

Totally understandable but the issue is that younger people in D are full blown communists as opposed to the elderly Ds who are still somewhat center left. When AOC is getting serious pub about taking the reins of the party, then they are either headed to the abyss or we are if the country wants that.

What you are really hoping for is that they keep trotting out dumb dumbs like Kamala and Tim Walz. The problem with this is that they are so locked in to the "blue no matter who" mentality that eventually they will find someone who can sell it well.

I think Bernie sanders would have won if not for Hillary swooping in. I recently watched a debate between Charlie Kirk and Bernie's press secretary or whatever. She was dead wrong about almost everything , but she was very articulate and likely would have been convincing to a huge portion of the electorate. At some point, I'm afraid they will find someone like this who can push a radical leftist agenda across the finish line.
