Dilaudid? How much pain are you in? I remember that drug well because of my sister's meds. Are you on a PCM?

A couple of them want to put me on disability but I want to work

I am trying to get off the Dilaudid. Opioids aren't good for my liver or kidneys

Plus I am on a fairly strict diet now and need to make sure diet, pain meds, and exercise combine smoothly

You can do it. My sister got addicted to morphine in the early 70s and I watched it. Dilaudid was her "withdrawal drug" which was also addictive. Not helpful.

I was at my sister's bedside during her hemodialysis. They would dry her out so much, her toes were curling cramping. So I would massage her feet to work out the cramps. Thumb up in the arch, Fingers come up on the toes bending them back. The goal was trying to keep her from rubbing blisters on her toes, just from clenching her feet from the pain.
