Gonna watch Tombstone tomorrow, I guess.

Also, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a great flick with him and Robert Downey Jr. Buddy cop spy comedy movie, and Val plays a gay tough guy. RDJ and Val are both nails.

Political because April is going to be full of Val Kilmer memes. Even more than usual.

Him not even being nominated for best supporting actor for Doc Holliday is the greatest snub in the history of the Academy Awards. That's a top 10 iconic movie role ever.

Dang... I had no idea. Makes a lot more sense why he wasn't talking in his role in Top Gun: Maverick. I figured it was something health related but didn't know.

This sucks. He really should've had a bigger career.

My favorite line has always been "You know Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend I just don't think I could bear it".

That one is good but l love "Are we cross? (taps on six shooter)..."

Although the "I know, let's have a spelling contest" to Ike was hilarious

I've got 2 guns, one for each of you.

And yea the throat cancer diagnosis was even worse because he had such an awesome voice.

Are you gonna do somethin' or just stand there and bleed?

Concur. Classic roles for sure.

But, one slight correction, Val played Iceman in Top Gun and his RIO was Slider

'My hypocrisy only goes so far'. Is one of my all-time favorite lines

'Oh, by all means. Move.'

'Why Kate, you're not wearing a bustle. How lude'.

He was even cool in True Romance, even though we never saw his face.

Heat is a top 10 favorite movie of mine, and he is nails in that. Was a great movie when Pacino and De Niro were still both cool.

Also good in The Saint, which is a really bad movie, but his performance is actually pretty funny.

It was pretty well known that Val was on borrowed time, and that was one of the driving forces behind Top Gun sequel getting a green light when it did.

Mitch: You know, um, something strange happened to me this morning...
Chris Knight: Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?
Mitch: No...
Chris Knight: Why am I the only one who has that dream?

Chris Knight: So, if there's anything I can do for you - or, more to the point, *to* you - just let me know.
Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your *****?
Chris Knight: Not right now.
Susan: A girl's gotta have her standards

Love this movie!

The way he manipulated the M-4 with mag changes and bounding was used as an example in the Marines.

Mitch: Did you know there's a guy living in our closet?
Chris Knight: You've seen him too?
Mitch: Who is he?
Chris Knight: Hollyfeld.
Mitch: Why does he keep going into our closet?
Chris Knight: Why do you keep going into our closet?
Mitch: To get my clothes - but that's not why he goes in there.
Chris Knight: Of course not, he's twice your size - your clothes would never fit him.
Mitch: Yeah...
Chris Knight: Think before you ask these questions, Mitch. Twenty points higher than me? Thinks a big guy like that can wear his clothes?
