What a strawman argument. I had a house built and a ton of landscaping done last year. The work was tough, but not cheap. The thing is the guys working were here legally to work. Several may have started as immigrants but now were licensed, small business owners.

I know one thing, they weren't out protesting in downtown San Antonio, or elsewhere, with Mexican flags draped around their backs. They were working hard. They are not the same as the protestors. Hopefully American Citizens, or those that have gotten in line and learning about America and doing it the right way so they learn about our country, how it was founded, and why we have a system that educates them and helps to assimilate them and learn the things that are great about our country as opposed to where they came from. Towards the end of Trumps first term I saw more and more work crews with black and white guys on them. Last night I saw 4 white busboys in a restaurant. It can be done.
At 15-20 an hour, that's 900 a week, plus overtime. Your wife makes same, that's 100k a year. Single guy, get a roommate and if you don't buy a 60000 dollar car or truck, you actually can make it.
You got smarts, then you learn the business, and then create your own- that's American way. Then you sit in your truck and give orders.

Start with able bodied folks abusing the welfare system. Start with able bodied folks collecting unemployment.

Increase the capacity and decrease the wait time for H2-A and H2-B visas.

Cut all Federal and at least Texas state assistance for illegals, and actually pass the savings onto the taxPAYERS... the one's with an effective Federal Tax rate >0%

Nobody can say with certainty what the outcome of deporting ALL illegals will be. You can speculate and ask what it's going to cost to replace those people.. but you aren't asking what will happen to

• Housing costs when the illegals aren't impacting supply/demand
• Medical costs when the illegals aren't going to the ER for sniffles and not paying a dang thing
• Not committing crimes and increasing the inmate population
• The money they earn isn't being sent back to Mexico and is being spent here
• The schools that can be closed due to lower enrollment
• Etc.....

I want the Government to enforce the laws. Both Fed and State. If an American breaks the law I want them arrested and prosecuted. If an illegal breaks the law I want them prosecuted AND deported.

For those that will state the law states the illegals get their day in court, I understand. I want the Fed to increase the capacity and shorten the wait for those hearings. You show up to the border and request asylum, you get put through a queue ala Night Court and 90% settled right there. The other 10% get told to wait in Mexico until their 2nd court date.

Question for you. Do you think that the people who have been impacted by the murders, sexual assaults, other violence committed by illegals give a crap about the cost to replace the illegals? I know I wouldn't mind paying an extra 1k for my roof if it meant my 13 yr old daughter wasn't sexually assaulted by one of those folks that shouldn't be here in the first place.

20 years ago, they made a movie about it called "A Day Without a Mexican"



And then on May 1, 2006, they had immigrant protest day where immigrants were supposed to boycott trabajo.
