Ever get that feeling that "they" have been misleading you. Looks like you might have been right all along.

Sure, it's just a Twitter post and could be a hoax. But if proven 100% true, we are in for an interesting period in human history.

So, there was a previous civilization....

BTW, I just saw a YT video on this subject from the Velocity Channel that usually does hard core European and Ukranian war stuff.

Nobody is saying anything there is non-period. That is of course being inferred by the "Not saying it was aliens…"crowd.

It is plausible they constructed the pyramid over older excavated structures or built a substructure for whatever reason before building upwards, and we hadn't detected it before. If it isn't natural anomalies in the ground then it might be undisturbed chambers or spaces with more archeological materials to be found.

My guess is they are seeing natural faults and changes in rock type and density.

We will be waiting till at least Mostafa Waziri is dead then.

There's zero doubt in my mind that we know less because of him, deliberately.

The Giza pyramids are built on a giant limestone plateau. The bolded is far more likely than the variety of nonsense that has been speculated.

Yes. However, for this kind of thing I tend to just file it under `maybe something to the Atlantis tale will yet emerge after all' and remain a bit agnostic on that. The strong assertions from slim evidence nothing existed before Y were always kind of self-evidently over confident. For example, just one discovery like this turning out to be true or fact based rather than hoax or misinterpreted will scuttle previous takes.

Why Atlantis? Because at least it had a reputable ancient scholar talking about it. (Never mind the elaborate arguments it was a hypothetical, or some kind of joke) Its as good as name as any for previously unknown civilization lost if there ever was such.

For this. Will simply observe and wait.

Maybe some kind of wells or infrastructure for holding water or mixing the concrete the pyramids are made of. I think the pyramids were poured concrete in sections that resemble big stones once hardened. I don't think they moved giant stones to make the majority of the pyramid.

This.

My dad was a huge fan of Erich Von Daniken back in the 70s and he bought into all of his BS and now Graham Hancock is always on the Joe Rogan podcast stirring up the same kind of BS.

I have yet to see or hear anything that makes me believe there is any kind of ancient mystery where Aliens or some super advanced civilization was present and disappeared 20,000 years ago.

I'm not a complete skeptic. As a kid I was super into stuff like this. I loved the pyramids. I loved thinking about far gone places like Atlantis. The ideas and concepts are entertaining if nothing else but then once in a while someone discovers that Troy actually existed and it makes for a really cool story about the discovery of something once thought mythical.

I'm just going to need a lot more evidence to support the idea of 2 KM deep cylindrical objects through solid limestone being man made.

1) I'm not aware of any GPR that has the ability to go that deep with anything that resembles resolution.
2) It's limestone. Going through that material 200 M much less 2000 M would be a major task even today.
3) The study that I've seen attached to this is like 3 years old and doesn't mention anything that I've seen about the subject of the video. It was about using technology to look within the pyramid, not kilometers below it.
4) The video mentions a press conference that I've seen no other evidence indicating that such a conference exists.

This has all the hallmarks of nonsense put out by someone and then a bunch of people that really, really want to believe jumping on it and believing it without even so much as a second thought. Is it possible something comes of this? Sure, but there is a whole lot of carts in front of horses at the moment.

You don't think a Geologist could tell the difference between stone and concrete? They know exactly where all of the giant stones were quarried.

If the Egyptians had some secret technology to pour concrete that resembled and had the characteristics of limestone thousands of years later with no cracking then Maybe it is Aliens

Excellent post. We agree entirely, even on the degree of not an inflexible skeptic, kind of loved the imagery and stories of such "was it so?" But also on the needing far more credible stuff than this.

I hear you -- things like the crystal skull when first heard about. Then seeing it scoffed at, and YET at the same time, no *explanation* for it. Just reflexive scoffing then. There are many little weird unexplained things like that --- (the Loretto chapel staircase in Santa Fe just brough up is one noted as a youth)

And yes, Troy turning out true was a big moment where it went the other way. Followed that avidly at the time.

I had a weird ass dream last night. Was visiting the Mayan pyramids in Mexico. Except the Mexican government had also built Egyptian pyramids and were trying to convince people they were real.
