Current CAFE standards are crippling and make no sense.

Beat me to it! This is first on my list

2nd is the clean power plan

This requires all coal power plants to capture 95% of their CO2 by 2035

Nothing but a new tax on the middle class
This was partially addressed by the EPA last night in a bunch of rollbacks. However, It isnt going to really matter to a lot of coal plants that are slated to close by 2030 anyways.

I haven't looked through those yet but a good start. Get rid of 90-95% of the EPA regs that are redundant in state agencies and programs. That should be easy for Big Ballz to compare with AI.

I want to find the person responsible for the feature that kills my engine every time I come to a stop sign or stop light. And I want to beat that person until they can't stand, then kick them for a while.

I didn't ask for that. I shouldn't have to pay for that.

I also want to find the person responsible for making Toyota ditch the reliable V8 and switch to a crapstain V6.

So I guess I would say the enviro whacko greentard CAFE standards are a big problem and should go away.

I like the V6 in mine. More power than the V8.

The dumbf***s I want to go after are the myopic engineers who thought it'd be a great idea to design a TRD Offroad package that didn't include front end recovery points and a rear bumper design that doesn't allow one to install an aftermarket rear bumper with step cutouts without cutting away part of the rear body panels instead of their f'n $250 kick down step and the $100 bracket required to mount said step to the frame.

It's like they forgot it's supposed to be a pickup truck and you might want to be able to access the bed while the tailgate is down. But hey, at least I can roll down my entire rear window. Because that's useful.

I realize that's not a regulatory issue. That's just dumbass Toyota engineers who, in all their brilliance, overlooked some really basic, common sense things.

Not requiring software used by the government to be fully accessible (for disabilities). This adds millions to the cost of software the government uses and prevents them from using many software solutions that are not fully accessible. And pretty much nobody uses the accessible functionality when provided.

All of the energy and water efficiency regs that make it so your toilet won't flush completely if you wipe more than once, dishwashers don't get dishes clean (even though they take more than twice as long as the one my parents had when I was a kid), and you can't have cheap, reliable incandescent light bulbs.

Whatever reg it is that led to the Rube Goldberg travesties that pass for gas can spouts these days.

Really, what is actually needed is to take away the unelected agencies' ability to make regulations on their own hook.

If Congress thinks a thing needs to be regulated, they need to write it into a bill and pass it into law. The executive branch shouldn't be setting, for example, fuel economy and emissions standards for cars.

Make the legislative branch legislate, and the executive execute.

At least take silencers off the NFA list.
Whole thing needs to go away. Compromise is why we are where we are.
Yeah but at the very least we need to make it like other countries where you can just buy a silencer at Academy or somewhere. It is completely ridiculous to have them so regulated. What are they accomplishing by it? Nothing. If a criminal needs to quiet their shot for a stealthy execution or something they'll just shoot through a pillow. Meanwhile law abiding Americans are having to suffer hearing loss for sport shooting unless they jump through all the regulatory hoops and wait a year for approval just for a legal can on their gun.
Trump will fix it.

Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act of 1937

18 U.S.C. 925(d)(3) (the "sporting purposes" test) and policies enforced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)

Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. 923) and the Federal Explosives Regulations (27 CFR Part 555)

(DOT) classifies gunpowder (both black powder and smokeless powder) as a Class 1 Explosive under the Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Parts 171-180)

ATF regulates gunpowder imports under 27 CFR 555.41 and 18 U.S.C. 842

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) imposes rules on chemical manufacturing under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and Clean Air Act

Federal law (27 CFR 555.206)

All of these, and probably more, affect the price of ammunition and ammunition components. Some of the regulations are perhaps necessary, but of those, they could probably be streamlined to reduce the overhead costs of suppliers and manufacturers.

The Excise Tax and shipping cost penalties should be stricken immediately.
