One bad day, a recession does not make.

Y'all remember that decline last August that turned out be too a Japanese banking issue?

How many people rushed here to scream sell and get it while you still can?

The market can do great during a recession. The economy can be booming during a market correction. They're more disconnected than ever given the amount of government stimulus of the last 6 years

Wait. I was told it wasn't a recession.
well, you were lied to
Well, then we'll just redefine "recession" like the last administration and the media did.

Then we won't be in one.

Problem solved!!!!

That happens everytime on here when the stock market goes down 5-10%, it gets very old.

Gov spending is included in GDP.

If DOGE only cuts half of what we've heard... we'll have to see a deep recession.

It has to be done. Now. Or later.

Interest rates are down like 75 basis points since Trump took office. You keep saying they are up. They are dropping like a rock.

But real estate is stagnant but I agree, interest rates are dropping, that is correct.

You can search chances for a world recession in 2025 and see indicators are pointing to it.

And to think, just this Morning, all was peaches for the uninformed.

March - July is the prime selling/buying periods for homes.

This. America companies and those investing in American jobs are about to make out like bandits. This **** isn't that hard.

Listen to the economists with blue and yellow flags on twitter at your own portfolios risk.

Real estate is likely stagnant because a lot of people locked in 3% mortgages during COVID and it's a hard pill to swallow paying so much more for a similar or even worse home.

Outside of government, all 4 of Biden's years felt like a recession.
This might be news to government workers though.

Check company earnings in 2021 and then in 2024.

Check average wages in 2021 and then in 2024.

Compare to inflation.

The economy has been hard on many for a variety of reasons. But not in a 4 year recession.
Did I mention I'm in Tech

So? Does tech mean the general economy?

If firing thousands of federal workers in D.C. sends us into a recession, then something was wrong to begin with.

How will other countries do in a recession without our cash lining their pockets and with smaller markets for their goods (tariffs)? The EU raising $168B for Ukraine as we stop with these warning indicators?

I don't want to assume we're in 5D underwater chess mode but I don't wonder if this accelerates geopolitical change. Europe can't de-lever with us pulling out and have bad demographics to cut spending.
