I do think you have a great point

he is clearly going to throw a ton of Biden White House and NSA and media people under the bus

of course, some of this is to absolve Kamala Harris from losing because now it's "Joe's fault that she only had 115 days to campaign!"

but anytime the left turns on itself- you will see a ton of those Biden hacks now throwing Harris people under the bus!!

can't wait.

Book deals are part of the payoff ….the first one that I am aware of was Hitler's Mein Kampf

I will bother to read any of the dozens of books coming out about Biden's decline when it is written by someone in the MSM I respect.

I may be waiting a while.

Seen elsewhere:

Quote:

How many big-name reporters does it take to tell you three months from now what they finally admitted last summer and that you had figured out almost five years ago?

Two. Their names are Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson.

"Book deals" are among the biggest grift in DC. This was probably a payout on a veiled threat or overt threat from Tapper that with declining ratings and possible layoffs, he needs to get his.

So someone from state sponsored media is telling that state sponsored media lied to us? The arrogance is offensive.

At least this grift isn't paid for by the taxpayers.

I would bet that the words "constitutional crisis" don't appear in the book at all.

The problem with the left is that they see Biden's decline and the subsequent media cover-up as a bad thing exclusively because it prevented the dems from having primaries to pick a better candidate and thus the "inevitable" stopping of Trump. Hence the "disastrous choice to run again".

They don't see Biden's decline and the media's cover-up as creating a constitutional crisis that allowed an unelected, unknown and subsequently unaccountable cabal of people run the office of the presidency for the better part of 4 years. To the left, that is ok because he is "their guy" and the unknown, unelected cabal is doing things they support. And of course it "saved" us from Trump. The ends justify the means, constitution be damned.

We have devolved so far into "team" politics that no one cares what is being done, as long as it is their guy doing it. We are showing ourselves to be unworthy of the government the Founders set up for us.

This is because we thought we were smarter than the founders. They understood you could not have universal suffrage. This bs is much harder to pull on an educated and affluent electorate that is much more engaged with the world.

the media has always viewed and sold itself as the fourth pillar of our government to provide additional checks and balances. this propaganda is no different than treason committed against the american people. this book should be an admission of guilt.

FIFY

They claim this puritanical and vital mission for the country, when in reality they are the 4th pillar of the DNC. The media is indirectly controlled by the swamp and has covered for it daily for the last 35 years, at least.
We may not always get what we want. We may not always get what we need. Just so we don't get what we deserve.

And yet he would have 100% voted for Biden had he been on the ballot.

This is like OJ's book on how he "would have" killed his wife.

What a POS. But like Brian Williams, they will look away. The left is not principled. They want to win by any means necessary

I apologize for bumping this but I read some takes this am on Tapper which made me just giggle a little at his pathetic duplicity. Funny thread/topic.

Tapper is one of the least serious frauds in 'journalism' writ large, and so obvious about it as to just be a comedic figure, imho.

I just wish when Republicans went on shows like his they would just call him a Democratic operative so he can protest. Then simply state, "Jake, isn't it true that you started your career as a Press Secretary for a Democratic Congressional candidate and then worked for Handgun Control and then were a reporter for extreme left wing Salon? Didn't you meet your wife because she was a Planned Parenthood employee and activist?" Then let him explain that away and say he is an objective journalist.

I have no problem with Tapper or any of these lefties having a voice and a show but call them what they are, they certainly have no issue identifying conservatives as conservatives when they introduce them.
I remember reading Jake Tapper in the local Dupont Circle rag of DC Neighborhood Paper

that paper was not exactly a bastion of conservative thought.

The "Washington City Paper" which was handed out for free in the metros.
