Tapper was silent when we needed the "news" telling us the truth and now he is loud (and obnoxious) when it is all over. I hope the book is a big flop.

My hope is that it is detailed enough to implicate a bunch of people that did this, leads to a bunch of people getting fired from government, and sells 20 million copies.

Wouldn't it be great if a whole swath of government bureaucrats became rich by ratting out the corruption in DC directly, naming names, pointing to the worst problems, and advocating reform?

I would happily pay off former swamp rats for turning on their comrades if those stories led to real reform. If a couple of these guys get rich doing this, you create a prisoner's dilemma situation where it's difficult to trust anyone, and all of these self-serving jerks realize the only way out of the mess is to become a turncoat.

The very best thing that could happen to government right now, IMO, is that we make about 100 government fraud whistleblowers into millionaires in exchange for creating hundreds of billions in tax savings. Get these rats to turn on each other. Pay them to do so.

The fact that any media member would risk their own credibility trying to gaslight us that Joe wasn't cognitively declining rapidly tells you how immune they feel to being held accountable.

They can stand there to our faces and tell us that up is down, right is left, and they feel no pressure because they know they won't experience any consequences for it.

That's the definition of propaganda. They believe they can speak things into truth.

I would bet that the words "constitutional crisis" don't appear in the book at all.

The problem with the left is that they see Biden's decline and the subsequent media cover-up as a bad thing exclusively because it prevented the dems from having primaries to pick a better candidate and thus the "inevitable" stopping of Trump. Hence the "disastrous choice to run again".

They don't see Biden's decline and the media's cover-up as creating a constitutional crisis that allowed an unelected, unknown and subsequently unaccountable cabal of people run the office of the presidency for the better part of 4 years. To the left, that is ok because he is "their guy" and the unknown, unelected cabal is doing things they support. And of course it "saved" us from Trump. The ends justify the means, constitution be damned.

We have devolved so far into "team" politics that no one cares what is being done, as long as it is their guy doing it. We are showing ourselves to be unworthy of the government the Founders set up for us.

The book has value though, still. Its a formal adminission of the truth of the cover-up in a way that is going to be hard to walk back or spin in the future. A book cover with title, by one of the top MSM talking heads of this era.

Is there any way I can just read Tapper's explanation of why he did not shout it from the rooftops the second he realized Biden was non compos mentis?

I just wish when Republicans went on shows like his they would just call him a Democratic operative so he can protest. Then simply state, "Jake, isn't it true that you started your career as a Press Secretary for a Democratic Congressional candidate and then worked for Handgun Control and then were a reporter for extreme left wing Salon? Didn't you meet your wife because she was a Planned Parenthood employee and activist?" Then let him explain that away and say he is an objective journalist.

I have no problem with Tapper or any of these lefties having a voice and a show but call them what they are, they certainly have no issue identifying conservatives as conservatives when they introduce them.
