You don't know a damn thing about the Bureau. Every person in that organization has dedicated their lives to protecting people. They deserve a helluva lot more respect that the orange billionaire who is using the oval office to get him and his oligarch friends wealthier.

Like it's insane to me that Donald effing Trump, a tv reality star has somehow convinced millions of people that the FBI, IRS, and government aid workers are the enemy. You are truly lost.
No they haven't. A whole lot of them, and a majority of the FBI senior leadership was directly complicit in falsifying affidavits to FISA judges and 278,000 violations of the 4th amendment.

Wray, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Pientka, and Priestap were all corrupt politicized liars. They tried to effect a coup d'etat to remove the duly elected President from office. But you know that and just choose to ignore it.

When you think about this time last year when the left thought the walls were closing in on Trump and they were getting all excited about his trials and his bull**** conviction compared to now it is really enjoyable.

Now I'm almost glad they stole 2020. This is so much better.
That steal is looking like a blessing in disguise. It gave a chance for Trump to take a step back and see where he went wrong and how to approach it this go around.

The MF is on fire right now and Right wing parties around the world are gaining steam. Thank God people are starting to fight back

Trump is busting ass and has deep state and MSM on their heels. I am waiting for something bad to happen, it is going to good to be true, sadly that is how I am thinking

You actually say that about the brand under the Biden admin when the massive scale of the $$$ being taken from the taxpayer and squandered have been revealed to a degree that have made it clear to even the Tim Pools and Joe Rogans and the center liberals of the "NotLeft" that is was D.C. that was "using office" to "get wealthier."

Bongino is an excellent choice because he has been on the top of this FBI story from an early point, after Catherine Herridge was for a while the only one.

What is common sense about appointing Dan Bongino? He has no relevant qualifications to running the FBI (a position that historically has been filled within the ranks of the FBI), unless the only criteria is cowtowing to Trump/Musk? His CIA background was over 10 years ago and to my knowledge didn't include any experience in managing any other agents or units. He just appears like another right wing nepo baby hire.

Just cutting and pasting. He doesn't actually know.
Correct CIA with Secret Service and nothing about my actual point changes. It was the only federal government job he had over a decade ago and has no other competencies to support he's qualified to be 2nd in command of the FBI.

The guy has been a radio/tv personality who has publicly said "My life is all about owning the libs now." (Which I know, many here will love but imagine if a DD said the opposite about Republicans.)
Seem like our whole of government is corrupt. Especially the ones that are able to mete out the punishment to the regular folks. ESPECIALLY if your ideals aren't the same as theirs.

Read this thread, as another example... Not to mention all the other politically motivated shenanigans that the FBI/CIA/DOJ did under Biden/Obama.

Later in the thread....

These aren't shadow spooks. They're normal people on a lowly government wage. Each of them had to go through rigorous interviews, testing, and background checks just for the OPPORTUNITY to serve their country. Many of them have law or business degrees and could easily be making way more money at a far less demanding job. I can't fathom how they feel when they see half the country call THEM CORRUPT.

Trump (a convicted felon, scam artist, and literal nepo baby) wants agencies like the FBI to fold because it makes his grifting easier. And he's succeeding. Next will be the SEC. And you and everyone here is gonna be worse off.

Congrats. You won.

This is one of the most ignorantly false posts I have read on here in a long time.

Secret Service, but what the hell does 10 years have to do with it?

I have worked with FBI agents on and off for years now. The field agents are good people and put lots of criminals behind bars.

But to say every person in that organization has dedicated their lives to protecting people tells me you don't know a damn thing about the bureau, the same as the many posters here think all FBI agents are bad.

The FBI has been run by partisan hacks for years now, the same as every other DC based agency.

Kash isn't going to purge the agents, he going to purge the politicians.

No, that would be following the Constitution, Article II to be precise. Unitary Executive is not some obscure legal the theory, it is literally what Article II says.

OTOH, wherein Article I or II does it say Congress has authority to create an agency that is independent, not answerable to anyone under checks and balances? They can't. Those agencies are still under the Executive Branch.

POTUS or his Cabinet Secretaries mess up? That is what the Court of Claims is designed to address. Damages. But the courts do not have authority to mandate the Executive to do something without a separation of powers violation.

Reason I bolded the words "to do something" is because these court cases mandating that the President can be forced to delegate authority to someone he does not want to have that authority, is not the appropriate remedy. Nor is it allowed by the Constitution.

The next question was " what is number one on your bucket list?" to it you responded it used to be going to an Oakland Raiders game before his lifetime boycott the NFL.

In fairness to Bonino, that interview is from during the first Trump admin. But given how everyone is saying, the Epstein documents are not being released because we are protecting Israel, what makes anyone think Bongino will be any different?

Like I said on page 2, put put him in charge of cleaning out the deep state. Because there's no reason to think he's gonna be of any help on the Epstein case.

I should have thought that one through...Sleepy Joe at Andrews come to mind! I haven't worn one in over 20 years, but I also work outside and around farm equipment, so mine was always in the way or getting snagged on something.

If you can find your way to the "SMU" and intimidate the supply clerk, Uncle Sam will issue you a genuine Marathon wristwatch for free (at least before DOGE eliminates all the Gucci gear from DLA contracts).
