Astroturf outrage meant to generate more attention for the advertisements.

Look at this ad so controversial the Washington Post didn't allow it to run. They didn't say why.... ooh so secretive. It is like a 12 year old is writing their game plan it is so transparent.

This was my first thought. Bezos doesn't want any more heat and someone at the Post knew they better run something like this by the boss first.

Democrats didn't even vote for their last presidential candidate. Kamala received zero votes in the primary. Elon received the same number of votes as Kamala did in the primary.
