Is it me or does every screeching Democrat say this in the middle of a rant.

Its an Obamism. So they kind of parrot it. It isn't so much a politician thing as it is a since Obama thing.

Really? I generally stop listening to them when I hear words start to come out of their mouths.

Many politicians use it, but Obama was a serial offender and prominent Democrats really love to use it now. Some Republicans roll it out too.

To me, it is a red flag that a particularly significant lie is likely about to be told, or possibly a threat to my civil rights or the rights of others. I have grown to despise it. You could be forthright and direct all the time when addressing the American public.

Let me be clear: The American people are ready for a new era! Where they have seen clearly What can be, unburdened by what has been.

Old corrupt, cocky, a-hole always thought he was such a badass. I will never understand how one person ever cast a vote for that POS going back to his first election.

Thank God he's finally done taking from Americans. In his life he never created one thing or solved one problem. He was the ultimate useless idiot who took our money every which way.

Obama's public speeches, is taken from Black preachers.

"The tendency for some Black preachers to repeat themselves during sermons is often attributed to a long-standing tradition within the African American church, where repetition is used as a powerful tool to emphasize key points, build emotional intensity, and ensure the message is deeply ingrained in the congregation, drawing on the rich oral tradition of African cultures where repetition plays a significant role in storytelling and communication"

I thought it was just because preachers, whatever their race/ethnicity/denomination, know that 100% of their congregation isn't paying attention 100% of the time. It's not a black thing.

That makes sense, but do they use that phrase alot? "Let Me Be Clear" sounds like you didn't say it cogently the first time.

Apart from the older common use of theparental "Let me be clear --- you are not going to [place] " "Get This Straight" analog.

When asked a question:

I'd rather someone not know the answer and say that (as long as they do follow up) than KJP say "let me be clear" with such disdain for the person asking the question. Her "how dare you!" attitude was by far the worst ever.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders was absolutely fantastic as was Kaylee M., and Karoline L. Has the potential to be one of the greats given how much red meat the reporters are feasting on right now.

Any time I hear any semblance of that phrase, "let me be clear", I know for a fact they will be no where near clear. And they will be very tyrannical and authoritarian. To hell with them.
