About the criminalizing of internet threats like the OP, there is a fine line between an actual threat and just an exercise in free speech. Lots of calls here to arrest or worse the people posting threats against Elon's team, but how often have the same posters here called for hangings and firing squads for guys like Fauci. I myself have said he deserves bad things, but I stop short of calling for death.

If we start arresting people for making threats on the internet like in the OP, are we prepared for the same being applied to this board on the other hand? I know there is a difference between what is being highlighted as specific threats versus something more generic like 'Fauci should be hung for crimes against humanity' or 'Schiff needs to rot in a hole', but who gets to decide the threshold? There is a lot of gray area between free speech and actual threats, and I think the door is being opened for some bad things...

Yes, liberals like the comforts of living large too. They are not the hippies living off the land like they make out to be. But are jet setters, drive huge cars and live in huge houses with no kids- all on our dime. They do an hour of work or research a day, then call a lid.
I would have liked that life too. And they know in private sector they would have to get off their ass and work, or do without.

I'm not at all that they are using younger, smart, almost assuredly slightly autistic kids (Musk knows his own kind) kids that have more time on their hands than money.

How good are YOU at chat GPT? These are kids that spent all of that time I spent playing pick-up basketball and Halo hacking away at AI engines to figure out what they do. They didn't have a job where they actually had to make money, so they gave themselves a useful education churning away with AI tools.

Pretty sure Musk's group is in the 0.00001% top educated users of AI tools, and I could probably add more zeros if the earth's population was bigger.
