The crazy feminists are all up in arms about this. I saw some angry comments on Linkedin also.

These beaches jump up and down in euphoria if someone says we need more feminine energy in companies. But someone says more masculine and these crazies lose their sheet.
Toxic femininity.

Zuck realized which side of the bread was buttered and quickly moved away from DEI nonsense.

Women make up just 35% of the tech workforce and hold only 11% of executive roles. The industry has long been a prime example for the workforce's gender gap, but according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, "masculine energy" is being sucked from the workforce, and corporations need to bring that "aggression" back.

"I think a lot of the corporate world is pretty culturally neutered," Zuckerberg said on a Joe Rogan podcast appearance on Jan. 10. "It's one thing to say we want to be kind of, like, welcoming and make a good environment for everyone, and I think it's another to basically say that 'masculinity is bad.'"
"I think having a culture that celebrates the aggression a bit more has its own merits that are really positive," he continued.

In Zuckerberg's own words, there is nothing wrong with embracing masculinity. But gender studies and economics experts warn that Zuckerberg's rhetoric can push women and marginalized voices out of the workforce by championing outdated gender roles and stereotypes.

"Neutered" is "gendered dog whistle," and perpetuates the patriarchy, gender traditionalism and anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, says Juliet A. Williams, a professor of gender studies at UCLA.

Listening to his conversation on Rogan and that actually seems to be a pretty big reason. Getting hit in the face seems to change ones perspective

The dude is being trained by the Machados. As someone who has spent the last 12 years training with Brazilians I can say this. Try NOT being more masculine in the company of Brazilians. Not only do the men not suffer the foolishness of the gender/LGBT crap we do here in America, but the women absolutely believe in the gender roles of the two sexes. I guarantee you he's seeing how stupid this all looks to real people outside his echo chamber and it's completely changed his perspective.

Or

Maybe, just maybe, he, like many others, figured out that women, almost all of them, desire masculine men.

It's science. Really.

" a professor of gender studies at UCLA". The world will be far better off when these so-called curriculums cease to exist. They belong in the food services industry, making minimum wage.

Zuck is no fool. He is a really smart guy.
He follows the money really well. Years ago when DEI arose, he realized he better fall in line else he will get canceled by the crazy mobs. Now he knows DEI is on the wane so he's switched sides.

He is an opportunistic realist.

Zuck added Dana White to the META BOD to be his junkyard guard dog, dealing with future gov meddling. Then he goes on Rogan to rebrand himself as a MMA hunter, fighting for free speech.

Zuck does or says whatever he needs to grow his empire. Under Biden he acted accordingly. He still hasn't acknowledged he was wrong, instead shifting blame to FBI/Biden admin.

Yep, a large percentage of CEO's, politicians, and other very powerful leadership types are estimated to be psycho/sociopaths.

That and things like surfing and getting a lot of sun light. He looks like he actually has some testosterone now.

Wouldn't be surprised if, even though he caved/complied at the time while under pressure, he grew to despise certain aspects of tyrannical leftist governance over time after having more time to process it.

Who knows, I need a lot more evidence before I ever trust him. Still good to see someone in his position actually express these types of things. Wish my CEO would be this vocally "based".

Yes, but let's not forget that he's still only a blue belt and will highly likely go the way most blue belts go (missing) haha.

In my 40 years in the office males were disproportionately represented in the office after 6pm and on weekends. I worked with some females that had a great capacity for work, but typically males were doing the heavy lifting after hours

Those gender studies and economics "experts" don't want the the truth to be the truth.
Anyone that avoids applying for a job because of "that rhetoric" probably wouldn't be any good at that job.
"That rhetoric" is a great way to keep toxic and ineffective people out of your workplace by self-removal prior to hiring.

I LOVE that "rhetoric".

Why just work, A&M computer labs (and I am sure other labs too) were disproportionately represented after about 7pm. I used to work in the Zachry building computer labs until 3am or 4am working on projects and there would not be a single female in the entire building.
I had noticed that groups of female students would look for a male student to add to their project team. They they would claim that they could not stay out after 8pm for various reasons and get the male student to work in the labs.

That is why you almost never see a startup company with just 1 female or a bunch of females. They always get a male cofounder. 1 Female cannot do the work and a bunch of females will end up fighting. Many of them have a successful husband or father to fall back on and can afford to be "bold" and "risk taking" because really, nothing is at stake. I am sure the successful female startups are less than 5%. They claim it is because of sexism and patriarchy.

I am primarily an investor these days and I gain and lose hundreds of thousands on volatile days. I don't think my wife could hack it if I told her. She would want to sell and put everything in CDs. No risk no tension. So I don't tell her!

No way women represent 35% of the tech work force. They're all in HR, Marketing, Sales or Customer Service. Real tech work is overwhelmingly a male domain. HR departments are over 70% female now and frankly this is a problem. You want masculine energy, change the leadership of HR departments 1st. Being generous, half the quoted numbers are really engaged in any kind of technical work.
