[Need more than a link to frame an OP -- Staff]

This pronoun crap was some of the dumbest **** ever thought up and should have been met with immediate derision and laughter. That should have been the end of it.

I love that we finally have a President with a backbone who isn't going to allow progressive games to continue.

I didn't take anyone as a serious person that used pronouns in their email sig. At my company I've seen numerous senior officers doing it but I'm guessing they'll stop now that the pendulum has swung back to sanity a bit.

The whole thing was a product Marxist dilutionism and junk science and psychology.

If anything, it just needed to be understood that a Male and Female has a wide range, and something like a Tomboy woman should never have been thought of as very weird, just a variant. And so on.

Trying to make space for that kind of thing by obliterating the real terms of biology and science is the height of insanity. Just have your default norms wider. Biologically at a certain level, its fact.

i remember the first time I encountered the pronouns on the email thing.

about 8 or so years ago, an older lawyer from nebraska, probably late 60s, who seemed like a pretty conservative guy, had "he/him" on his email. And he didn't have one of those trans-names that goes both ways like "pat" or "kris" or big rob." it was an undoubtedly male name.

I responded to any email once with a "he/him? was that in question?"

the guy called me and pretty much read me the riot act about transrights, blah blah blah. It has hard not to laugh.

any way a couple of years ago, turns out he died. unrelated.

It would have been too weird to include something like that in the 2006 Mike Judge film "Idiocracy". Let that sink in. The writers would have been like "nah, that's f'n ridiculous".

These people all knew it was a clown show and went right along.

Simple. You may not place pronouns in your email signature.

Funny enough I have found a use for pronouns on emails, etc! And that is when you run into some foreign name (usually Indian) and you have no clue if the person is a woman or a man.

I liked the pronouns, that way I knew who to ignore.
