this morning at 0800 she is wearing full sunglasses in January when walking out to the chopper.

maybe she is just sensitive to light for some reason...

She neve seemed comfortable with all the attention. Now you layer on 8 years of ceaseless attacks, two assassination attempts, and everything else - I think she's trying to stay subdued and nondescript.

I think that Melania is smart and subtle. She avoids the spotlight, but the decisions that she does make on where she goes, who she talks with, what she wears, shows that she has a very high IQ when it comes to public perception.

Her inauguration day outfit reminded me of Spy vs Spy. Even if you think that is a stretch, it is easy to see that her attire was hinting at the political warfare that is to come over the next 4 years.

Trump and Melania decided that that they were going to get elected and start ****ing stuff up. Her outfit, to me, just shows me that Melania is on board. For those of you in a great marriage, you know that this is critical. Having a partner (husband or wife) that is on board with your adventuring is very helpful.

It can get super bright in my helicopter. Nothing weird here.

She has received a lot of criticism/commentary for her stoic appearance/body language in the past and I suspect that she is intentionally keeping her eyes hidden from the media spotlight this go around.

I thought that was a documentary?

My eye doc says we should all wear sunglasses as much as possible when outside.

IMO she does it so people don't analyze her every eye movement. Like any wife, she probably rolls her eyes at some of the things her husband says. Smart practice.

Many people, once they reach a certain age, and especially if they have lighter colored eyes, are recommended to wear sun glasses every time they step out by their physicians to protect their eyes.

I wear sunglasses most days when I am outside, even when it is cloudy, just something I have always done.
