Anything you do to help the little guy will help the big guy.

Lower input cost? Helps both.

Lower taxes? Helps both?

Economy of scale is a fact of life. Want a tractor? Say goodbye to 150,000 dollars. Then try to spread that cost over 150 acres.

Going to be easier to spread it across 15,000 acres.

Not true, be more creative. Eliminate the illegals will hurt the big guy more. Crop insurance is now really the only subsidy farmers have. Phase that out with farm size. That would be huge. Neither one of those ideas costs money.

PS. I farm 800 acres with 3 tractors worth a total of $20k. Again be more creative.

We had a discussion probably 10-12 years ago. You told me I couldn't farm with a 4630 tractor and needed the 150k model you mention above. You were even kind enough to calculate how many miles per year it would have to drive which was a little odd.

You were incorrect. It's still going. Be more positive about improving ag for small farmers.

Love for you to find that. I don't believe I would say anything like that.

I have hundreds of hours behind the wheel of a 4630, amd most every other Deere up through 4960. Almost no time with one of the newer ones.

Just curious if you found that post where I was alleged to say you couldn't farm with a 4630.

It really does not sound like something I would say.
