It's interesting how things come together. Novo Nordisk is the most valueable company in Denmark. Novos drug is on the list for Medicaid negotiations. The stock price is down about 50% from its highs. Trump wants Greenland. Denmark controls Greenland. Americans are fat and unhealthy and and Novos drug can help bring out uncontrollable health cost down.

The US needs to be an unapologetic bully. At the poker table the chip leader bullies the short stack. After the Iraq debacle and terrorism, and the Ron Paul blowback narrative, Obama apologized and we got soft. F that.

China bullies to get entrance into the American market. We let anybody into our market even if it hurts Americans. Tell Denmark, listen mothereffer, I'll shut Novo out and give it all to Eli Lilly or you give me Greenland at attractive terms and we allow and even promote Novo because it'll help lower our healthcare cost. Everybody wins while right now Novo charges 5x to Americans.

This is America First.

5X is correct.

50K for a growth hormone regemine for teens (my insurance paid about 50k). He has scoliosis and wasn't on any of the size/age charts. He had to take shots every night for 2 years but their growth hormone completely changed him as a person and a man. It's a great product.

Maybe Trump can bully the short stack but I doubt the Danes are going to fold over the stock price of one of their largest corporations

Denmark GDP $404B
Novo Nordisk Revenue and Market Cap $78B and $288B

Denmark might need to think this one through.

I've seen reports that Denmark is losing $700m each year via their ownership of Greenland.

We have all the leverage. Should be easy to negotiate a deal they will jump at, just need to structure it in a way that it saves face for Denmark and puts a feather in their PM's cap.

Both. My kids can't quit them and they are way over priced for plastic bricks.

My wife asked me to make her scream like I used to in our youth.

While she was sleeping I put some legos on the floor beside her bed.

In the morning it worked like a charm.

From what I have read, Greenland is hugely rich in minerals but Denmark does not have the ability to build the infrastructure that is needed. Roads, bridges, damns, ports, railroads, electric plants, water plants, pipelines, airports, etc. The USA has the ability. I am sure a partnership deal can be worked out. Denmark could become the richest county per capita in the world by going into business with the USA. The USA would also do very well too.

It does not even has to be "owned". We can set up a deal in which we rent Greenland for 99 years, paying Denmark while we give them preferential treatment in defense, the drug market, and additional incentives.

Everyone goes away happy and honor for all.

If the US some how takes over "Greenland" can we at least rename it to something more appropriate like Iceland #2 or land of many volcanoes, just a thought .. it's not so green

Lived in Denmark for a couple of years. Important to understand their population is 5.9 million which is significantly less than the 8.1 million in the DFW metroplex.

Also, their government is very friendly toward corporations with low corporate taxes and they make it easy to start up businesses and to hire and fire employees. Even two decades ago Denmark came to the realization that only human beings ultimately pay taxes and that by putting low taxes on businesses and high taxes on individuals…..that every job created by businesses results in more tax for their welfare system and one less citizen they have to support thru welfare. Lots of folks are shocked when they see Denmark listed as one of the friendliest countries for starting and operating a business.

If you consider the value of the time it keeps your kids off their phones and using their brains, Legos are an incredible bargain.
