I would think that dollars to schools are not assigned at that granular a level and the BoR sets the detailed budget.

But, I honestly don't know the process. Only speculating.

I'm assuming the "out" for A&M is that these aren't A&Ms requirements but the conference's requirements . A&M needs to stop sending students to racist conferences.

Playing devil's advocate here, but they're asking faculty or PhD students to represent May's at a conference that is aimed at minority undergrads to market the business school.

There's nothing that says the Mays reps have to be minorities.

The people in academia and bureaucracy who have been soaking in this ideological cult for years if not decades will take a long time to deprogram. They believe their cause is just and they hope they will escape notice be laying low and hiding amongst those that are still sympathetic and may not report these things even if they don't participate. They really do believe that exclusionary policies with biases in favor of historical minority categories are a good thing. They don't see that their actions simply perpetuate division.

Remind me not to show up there recruiting for employees.
