I mean, California is in deep trouble. I don't necessarily mind the 10% reduction. The entire state gov't probably needs a 20%+ cut. The issue is I highly doubt other "valued" entities were asked to cut their budgets.

Under normal circumstances a household that needs to cut their expenditures by 10% is that they will cut all unnecessary spending, before even considering cutting essential services. Of course that never works for Liberals.

Meanwhile, $50 million has been channeled into the Transgender Firepersons Recruitment Program. Initially, most of that money will be used to fund research proving it is possible to fight fires in high heels.

There is no defending this at all. Just a perfect example of what happens to a city after decades of Democratic rule, and to be honest it's really stepped up since Clinton. But anyway carry on California, keep it up. She should resign along with the other DEI staff running public services.
