Eh. As someone who lives in MA, the tone has very much softened on immigration over the last several years. They have changed the "right to shelter" law such that we aren't indefinitely housing migrants. Still spending >$1 billion on shelter for migrants but the trajectory is come down. Follow left-wing progressive/commie r/massachusetts or r/boston and the posts on immigration feel very right-wing. Rewind several years and the tone was certainly very anti-Trump on immigration, but Abbott's plan to bus/fly migrants around the country has changed the minds of many left wing states on immigration after having to actually deal with what to do with them.

Here is an interview from 2 weeks ago. If you skip to about the 4:45 mark in the video, she outlines her position on immigration. Says we need to fix the boarder and get violent criminals out of the country.



Mayor Wu in Boston was probably the loudest on anti-Trump on immigration. She received quite the backlash when she said it was a sanctuary city and wouldn't work with the federal government on immigration. Her tone softened a bit after that.

She should start sending them to Martha's Vineyard.
