How did Trump and Cruz win an outright majority of Latino voters in Texas?

We can go into the specifics of the Democrats failures, and their move to the Far Left on the issues of crime, immigration, fiscal policy, and social issues. We can go into how Abbott and the Texas GOP started to set up the infrastructure for Republicans to go after Latino voters during the 2018 and 2022 elections. However, I believe three videos can sum it all up.

What is your opinion? How did all Republican candidates running on a statewide ballot in Texas, including Texas Supreme Court Republicans and Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Republicans all win an outright majority of Latino voters in Texas in 2024?

Here is Senator Cruz talking about the generational change with Trump on stage this past weekend.

CNN, ABC, and the Houston Chronicle all showing that Trump, Cruz, and all down ballot Republicans won an outright majority of Texas Latinos in 2024:

No idea what you're talking about. Neither Trump nor Cruz not any other Republican won a majority of hispanics in TX. Trump won about 40% of hispanic men (28% better than 2020) but they both won less than a third of hispanic women (closer to a quarter). Down ballot all performed worse than Trump.

What you posted is a boat load of fake news.
You are a liar.

Trump and Cruz both won an outright majority.

All of these exit polls are from liberal sources

Trump won 55 percent of Latinos. https://abcnews.go.com/Elections/texas-exit-polls-2024-us-presidential-election-results-analysis

Cruz won 50 percent of Latinos. https://abcnews.go.com/Elections/texas-exit-polls-2024-us-senate-election-results-analysis

You need to stop lying. That is why you are losing every election. The people are done with your extremist far left policies.

Both Trump and Cruz won a majority of Latinos voters in Texas.

Even the liberal Houston Chronicle says 55 percent of Latinos in Texas won by Trump and over 50 percent won by Cruz: https://www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/election/2024/article/trump-republicans-won-big-latino-texans-19893290.php

It is shocking how far off you are. It is ok. You don't have to lie anymore. It is all over. Latinos have moved to Republicans in Texas in record outright majority fashion.

That is why Texas was more Republican than Iowa in 2024 and almost as Republican as Kansas.

Latinos are done with the Democrats far left extremist policies on crime, immigration, fiscal policy, and social issues.

Dims continue to equate skin color with votes.

Texas Hispanics correctly are able think past that and equate Dim policy as being anti family, anti judeo-christian morals, and anti capitalist.

Valentina Gomez is BSC. She doesn't represent hispanics or hispanic women at all. Thats why she carried less than 10% of hispanic REPUBLICAN voters in MO. She got her ass beat in MO because her platform and rhetoric was beyond extreme and moved to TX because she's an opportunity and a loser and want to grandstand for donations against Dan Crenshaw. I wouldn't take someone who placed 6th in a R primary and lost 9/10 hispanic R voters as representing hispanic values. She's nothing more than a 6th place MO loser. Maybe in TX she can be a 5th place loser but I'd like to think Texans are smarter than Missourians. Facts are she's still a loser.

Looks like you fell for her shtick. T&P.

Let's see, you are literally wrong any everything you post so everyone should take what you post as exactly the opposite. If you need a typical example look back of what you posted about Mexico's President.

Those counties along the border that went Trump and flipped parties was because of white people. Those counties are dominated by Hispanics.

The average non to poor English speaking voting Hispanic would never vote for a lady once they learned she believes little boys can pretend to be a girl and supports removing private parts to make Juan into Juanita. Imaging to a Hispanic festival and the little girls come out in their beautiful dresses and the emcee introduces a young boy dressed up in a dress? You know exactly how that would be received and it wouldn't be pretty.

Here's a little anecdotal story to consider.

The hispanic lady who regularly cleans our house has been a citizen for about 15 years. She was talking to my wife about the election and the deportation threats. She said she was glad to see it, as she has worked her butt off as a citizen and it pisses her off when people look at her as if they are wondering if she is legal or not.

It's kind of a different perspective that's not really been acknowledged.

I can only speak for the Hispanics I know.

To a man, they are

  • Serious about their Catholic faith and have serious issues on abortion and gay rights
  • Speaking of gays, that is still the absolutely worst thing you can be in that culture.
  • They are indifferent about illegal aliens since most are of Mexican heritage and very few illegal liens today are Mexicans.
  • They believe in hard work and getting ahead and hate paying taxes for others to be lazy.

The fact that Hispanics voted around 50% for Republicans is the worst nightmare of the dems. They've allowed unfettered immigration for decades from Central and South America in the belief Hispanics would vote overwhelmingly for dems. That was true for a long time but appears to be changing.
If this trend continues, the dems are done as a party unless they move dramatically to the center.

Latinos who are able to vote see the same class warfare rhetoric in places they fled. They are catholics against abortion. Almost all reject "LatinX" and the LGBT woke gender agenda.

If Trump toned down his "criminals from insane asylums" rhetoric a bit, there would be even more support. The criminals are certainly a big problem, but a very small percentage of the illegal population flying under the radar.

The above has been true for decades and Hispanics still have voted Democrat.

What has changed? The economy, probably. The Democrats going hard left, maybe.

However, when I was with Customs and Border Protection, I would receive calls from Hispanics reporting illegal family members so that they can be deported.

Reason: They cause problems for the family that are US citizens.

The Biden's open border policy has placed a strain on families living here supporting illegal family members, a criminal element entering Hispanic communities, and additional competition in employment opportunities.
