Don't we still have bases in Iceland? My first husband's Dad was AF and stationed there in the 60s.

Depending on which article you read, there is Keflavik Naval Air Station or Keflavik Air Base. I am pretty sure we turned Keflavik NAS over to Iceland for ownership, but the US Navy still "operates" the base.
