People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because hard men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

To unseat an incumbent crowded primary , to keep him under 50% then push hard on the run off because turnout is so low
they do runoffs for the primary, if under 50 percent?

Not in my district. A common incumbent tactic where I live is to have five million others run against him, so the anti incumbent vote is divided and he coasts to victory.

Eff Dan Crenshaw and I will never forgive him for what he did to Eddie Gallagher. That is a line he can never uncross and it's simple as that.

No clue what you're talking about.

Seriously?

Eddie Gallagher was a SEAL, who was charged with murdering an ISIS dude and other crimes. Dan Crenshaw publicly supported his pre-trial release from incarceration, but allegedly worked against him behind the scenes. Crenshaw denies the latter. Crenshaw's name was conspicuously absent from a petition to have Gallagher released. 50 other congressman signed the petition. Gallagher was eventually acquitted of most of the charges.

Now, Crenshaw and Gallagher pretty much just Call each other names

I'm pretty neutral on the whole thing. Because I don't know what Crenshaw did or didn't do. And whatever it was, I don't know his reasons. Perhaps he's an a-hole who didn't help when he could have. On the other hand, he is a former navy seal, and he may know things we don't, and have reasons we either don't understand, or we are not privy to.

Dude was up at 1:30 this am calling out Carrie's for spreading true information.

Thank you. Most of the stuff that people care about in politics holds little interest for me. I value honesty and statesmanship above most everything. Crenshaw has been a straight shooter with me when it comes to Ukraine (where my son is adopted from), and with flooding issues (whereas people like Abbott and Patrick don't care), and I don't pay a lot of attention to RINO name-calling and other myopic anal retentiveness. I wish that Crenshaw was a Christian, but sometimes his lack of interest in such things frees him from having to cowtow to the Christian nationalists who pose as Christians in his party. You can actually have a conversation with him, and I appreciate that.

You can have a conversation with him until he decides to cuss out the person asking the questions and throws that entire statesmanship thing out the window.

I live in the district and would be a much better representative than Danny C, but I doubt on my lolpoor budget that I could get even 25% in a primary

He defeated a nut case who spent $6 million of her husband's money, and a state house member and BIL of a billionaire lawyer to get elected, so if money didn't sink his cause, why should it sink yours?
