Hijrah isn't exactly conquest through immigration. It's closer to just migration or leaving. Hijrah was Muhammad's migration from Mecca to Medina because the Quraysh were not happy with him and he read the writing on the wall. It was more of an expulsion, hence the closer translation being about leaving our severing ties.

Anyway, Muhammad's Hijrah was a bit of a turning point in Islam and is considered by many Muslims to be the beginning of Islam. Even Muhammad dated his letters and writings based on it, IIRC. It also starts their calendar. The idea of personal hijrah within Islam kind of took hold because it became a recurring theme of uprooting and moving throughout its early centuries. Part of it was based on the nomadic nature of the Bedouins that were a part of early Islam, but another part was how Muslim rule changed over the years between the arabs, Persians, Berbers, Turks, etc. Uprooting, moving, and taking Islam with you became something early Muslims just did in imitation of Muhammad (and often out of necessity), almost like a one-way pilgrimage.

I think a lot of Muslims see moving to Europe as hijrah not necessarily as a conquest, but as just another mass migration. That said, I think most of them also think the inevitable result is the Islamization of Europe because what ever other major hijrah resulted in. It's not necessarily the goal, but it is the understood result. You could say it's a distinction without difference, but the hijrah doesn't translate or come with conquest attached and I think it's important to be precise and accurate when using words and making claims to head off any challenges of ignorance.

And just to be clear, I think Europe is stupid for letting them in. They should deport every single Arab they can and lock down their immigration. Islam is nothing but a ****ing poison.
