Has no one ever been to the FEC website? That info is available already.

Explain. How do I look up someone's party affiliation on that website?
Not party affiliation (although I think that would be available somewhere too... maybe county?)

You can look up donations to political candidates/PACs. That'll tell you who they support, hence who they likely vote for. With all the open primaries, a D or R registration doesn't really tell you that. I voted for Hillary in the 2008 Dem primary, just in hopes of extending the bloodletting between her and Obama. So I was registered D once, even though I've never voted for a D pres candidate in my life. But at the FEC site, you'd see that 100% of my donations are to R's.

Who needs an Ap for that??

Just drive around the neighborhood! The liberals can't help but out themselves!! Lol

Black lives matter. No human is illegal. Science is real.
My neighborhood is mostly Democrat now.

Found this gem back in October while walking the dog:

The dog did stop to pee on a Harris sign, but I wasn't fast enough to get a pic.

After the election, a couple neighbors I know were laughing about how fast all those Harris signs and fence banners came down.

How would they know individual voting results?

Voter rolls are public info but voting is not

They would just know party affiliation and the person's election voting history but not the actual vote
The world needs mean tweets

The primary (or convention process for third parties) you participate in is public information. That is typically how we "register" or "affiliate" with a particular party in Texas. However, you can also officially affiliate through the more official methods, but only folks actively engaged in party events or leadership typically go that route.

I never post personal stuff on facebook yet they list me as a hard core conservative. Maybe they are buying the tracking data from FB.

...and everywhere else. Do you have Alexa or Siri or search anything on the internet or watch TV?

Most of my stuff would not paint me as conservative in particular but my click stream sure does. Just this site alone puts the label on me to a high percentage.

Some of my more shrewd neighbors may have connected my Trump sign and MAGA flag to my voting tendencies

I love how the article follows up with a "donate to us, trump is a threat to the press"

Nonbiased my ass.
I'm late to the party, but maybe the OP will see this.

Replace the OP link with this so the Guardian does NOT get credit for the clicks.

Could be useful. I'd like to know if a neighborhood was full of lefties before I moved there.
