It's been a crazy two week period in world politics. Here is all that has happened, I'm not sure I've ever seen this much instability happening at once:

  • France's Parliament ousted their Prime Minister for the first time in a long time, Macron is going down next election by all intents and purposes
  • Germany's Parliament ousted their Chancellor for I believe only the 3rd time since the end of WW2. New elections called for mid January.
  • UK is having huge issues and their government is gridlocked but can't call any new elections until July. They can't pass anything right now.
  • Canada will probably be without Trudeau as he's getting pressure to resign and every polling shows the Conservative Party will annihilate everyone in the next elections.
  • Romania's election was canceled after some alleged election interference from Russia
  • Syria got overthrown
  • Georgia is rioting after the appointment of the new President, Parliament refused to acknowledge, Pro-EU protests all over the country
  • South Korean President impeached after calling for Martial Law because him and his wife were being investigated for corruption and stock manipulation, try to use the military and police to stop their congress from accessing their chambers, only to have their congress unanimously rescind Martial Law and ultimately impeach him.

It's nuts out there.

Excellent and useful post.

Aside: Not directly tangent, but it could be poster set of further arguments for getting rid of the "lame duck" period of transition between administrations and Congresses.

Agree and most of these have been a long time coming. Can be like whiplash.

And in the U.S. the current POTUS has effectively abdicated his control to the President-elect.

Things are bass-ackwards right now.

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

George and son are perfectly happy with chaos.
Chaos is bad for currencies and shorting currencies during crises, especially ones that he has created, is how he makes his money and gains power.

Soros and those of his ilk may have a real reason to cry next year.

Jay Valentine is going to use his fractal technology to decipher to spider webs of leftist NGOs and where all of that dark money is coming from.

The current POTUS is still signing pardons for all the rats as they scurry away to their mansions

The grifters and those in charge making billions didn't want Trump elected. That's why you're seeing such rapid change. It's going to be a crazy 4 years. Hopefully we come out of this a better country and the world at large is safer.

How do you figure? When is the last time you heard from either Biden or Harris directly?

Trump is already having conversations and making **** happen.

biden may have abdicated power, but it's in no way been given to Trump. Do you think that Trump is behind the pardons we've all seen recently?

Because i pay attention to the world.

We heard from Biden yesterday

So you think Trump is behind the new deal letting federal workers stay at home?

The pardons mentioned above?

I would also add the "good" turmoil in Argentina as a bright spot. What he's been able to accomplish in such a short time is amazing.

Romania's election was nullified because the 'wrong guy' was winning well above the margin of fraud. The only allegations about Russian interference revolved around TikTok videos getting a lot of views, no fraud/cheating etc. Then they cut off power and the internet to his home and arrested his supporters.

The 'maidan' riots in Georgia are stoked by EU/CIA backer$. There was no fraud there, and their parliament elected the new president who will assume office and kick out the election-denier from the presidential residence on the 29th.

For what it is worth, the South Korean president was being investigated and is being impeached to stop his administration's own investigation into corruption by his opposition party. Both sides there are very likely deep in it.
