"The November labor report, released on Friday morning, revealed that nonfarm payrolls increased by 227,000 last month, above the Dow Jones estimate of 214,000

and marking a huge hike from October's upwardly revised gain of 36,000.

The unemployment rate nudged up to 4.2%, as expected."

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

That's when D's are in charge. Doesn't happen when R's are in charge

The unemployment rate is about to go way up. Elon and Vivik are about to clean house of gov employees!

America will be so much better off with a lot less government and more money in the pockets of the private sector.

Problem with firing bureaucrats with 6 months of severance you get almost an equal amount of protestors for the next 6 months.

The Way the Deep State Manages the Crises They Create

1) we did not expect it, but It is transient and will self correct.

2) it is expected, but we can fix it if you trust us and give up more of your freedom

3) we can't fix it. it is the new normal, but the government will ease the burden by giving you handouts. The rich just have to pay their fair share.

4) we can no longer ease the burden with all of the foreign wars we have to support (Afrkca, Ukraine, etc...) it is your duty as Americans to sacrifice for the good of the world.

sounds like unemployment is at step 2

California's fast food industry shed more than 6,000 jobs after Democratic lawmakers passed a bill mandating a $20 minimum wage for most fast food and counter service restaurants in the state, according to a new analysis of labor data.
Quote:

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data show that between September 2023, when California governor Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1228, and June 2024, Golden State fast food employment dropped from 570,909 jobs to 564,743. That's a loss of 6,166 jobs, or 1.1 percent, according to an analysis by the nonprofit Employment Policies Institute.

During that same period a year earlier, California fast food restaurants added 17,528 jobs, a 3.1 percent increase over those ten months in 2022 and 2023, the data show.

"Newsom took a sledgehammer to the state's restaurants when he signed the $20 fast food minimum wage law," Rebekah Paxton, EPI's research director, said in a press release. "Jobs have been smashed by thousands and the industry is struggling to stay afloat."
Guess that was somehow unexpected too?

Make no mistake we are going to see some crazy numbers going on out of the government for the first year of the Trump Admin. They have been doing so much to manipulate the data it's impossible to know what is real. So many of the jobs under Biden have been government driven as well and Trump is going to cut a ton of them.

Going to be a wild time.
