I wouldn't underestimate Biden. This isn't like Biden is off writing the pardon on his typewriter and submitting it, he has legal counsel (and probably pretty good counsel) advising him on the risks and rewards and making a decision that protects his son and family as well as possible.

I just don't believe they're sitting there like, "oh ****, we didn't realize we just waived his 5th amendment rights! crap!" No way that happened. They know what they're doing I'm sure.

Afterwards, Hunter's counsel tried to walk back a lot of what he said in court to the judge, it was so stupid.
