Now that that Senate is 53/47 in favor of the Republicans, we will see more Republican Attention Prostitutes. Say anything to get your 15mins of fame (and extra favors in the Senate).

Am I wrong?

You're not wrong. They'll milk this because they're all attention *****s. But they'll fall in line when it matters.

It is not fame or simple attention they seek; they seek compensation.
You may not be a moron, but some people think you are.

Its amazing. They are both talking like the AG hasn't been politicized by Biden.

Don't remember Cornyn saying something this bad -- this guy is an absolute doormat for the go-along-get-along clique. He was prepared to remove Texas' say on the border with the Dems.

These jokers don't get what is happening to the party. The purge is finally coming, and they are on the wrong side.

However, the voters have the ultimate responsibility. You want butt wipes like this dude gone? Then get off your ass and do some research on your primary candidates and vote don election day. Don't get fooled.
The best way to keep evil men from wielding great power is to not create great power in the first place.

Isn't this the guy who was pantsed by Schumer on the so-called bi-partisan immigration bill? Do better, Oklahoma.

They are sensing an opportunity to profit. Now that the margin is 53-47, two more senators can play the "Lisa Murkowski" concerned moderate swing vote role in return for earmarks. Susan Collins is pretty much a lock for one spot on the gravy train, and it looks like Lankford wants to go toe to toe with Cornyn and a few others for the other spot. He knows there is no chance OK will vote for a dem, so he feels safe.

Yes, this is one of those chamber of commerce get along and cash in types of tool bags that would prefer to be in the minority because it is less work. Second best option is to grandstand and tell the MSM what their audience wants to believe and leverage the threat of dissent for more power and wealth opportunities.

A couple of these RINO types will be channeling McCain for the next couple of years. MSM go to bookings for the Trump obligatory opposition talking points. Usual suspects deal.

This should be framed. Perfect description for the go-along-get-along that people mean when say "Washington Generals" role.

Thune needs to tell every single Senator that does not fall in line behind Trump's picks that they will receive zero funding for campaigning and will be primaried.

Is he the guy that will do that though? He seems slightly Rino'ish. I would hope he'd do something like this. Republicans need to recognize what is before us here. We have a mandate to make things happen. If we don't do it we'll lose the House and Senate in two years. If that happens, Trump will be impeached and convicted and kicked out of office.

Yes, probably helped by fake charges drummed up by the Intelligence community he seems so fit to trust. Remember the 17 (the number itself is clue of inefficiency and overlap) that played along in the concoction
of the dossier hoax?

The objections to Tulsi -- he is parroting Hillary. He didn't say anything to push back against the hoax run --- again somewhat rubber-stamping Dana's narrative.

They say that he and Trump burried the hatchet, so now is his time to prove it.

The American people didn't elect Lankford to appoint these people. We elected Trump. Carry out his objectives and vote for what the people put Trump in office for.

Is there any basis for any Republican senator to not vote for a Trump appointee?

Or should any republican senator be primaried that votes "no"?

No, they have made it pretty clear that they are there mostly to serve themselves and the interests of the uniparty.

Yes. Even a good bit of some of those of the Center Left.

Its high time get something resembling the Democrats ability to be on the same page. Look at how many of Biden's appointments were total write-offs, or Obama's and yet just sailed through. Biden/Kamala absolutely got the cabinet he wanted -- Trump/Vance needs to as well.

And the majority of us don't give a rat's ass that you voted against Harris, not for Trump.

HE WON THE POPULAR VOTE BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS!!

That is true. But many of you also voted very specifically against the Beltway-MSM government current running down of the country. Plenty of them made that clear. Many of Joe Rogan's audience are not of the right. And that's just that example.

The people voted against the swamp --- they have the right to a non-swamp cabinet when having so clearly signaled that.

Congress needs to rubber stamp what Trump wants?

So does that apply to Biden's congress.
America overwhelmingly voted Biden in. So Congress should just do what he wants right?

Why even go on that garbage show?
The questions were left wing political propaganda with a question mark at the end.

It was as bad as,"Since we all know for a fact that Trump will deport all immigrants, whether here legally or illegally, imprison all homosexuals and minorities without cause, force women to get pregnant, shut down the legislation branch, and stay in dictatorial control until he dies, do you plan to vote to conform his selection for dog catcher of Washington, DC?"

That entire interview was a complete waste of time.

Here's the thing, Tanya. Lankford would have a bit of credibility if he took the position he's taking regarding a confirmation process of Trump's nominees, AND he pointed out the disasters resulting from the current occupants of both the roles held by Biden nominees, as well as the dishonesty and malfesance of the current leadership of the intelligence, military and law enforcement communities due to failed leftist policies.

He's not doing that. He's playing along with the charade game of the MSM that the current government is the 'rational' one and that Trump's new government is some sort of extremist move that bears close watching.

That is a lie. And Lankford knows it. So do you. And so do I. Oversight is fine. But NOT at the expense of playing like Biden's government is how it should be done.

THAT is the reason Trump won so convincingly this cycle. DC needs an enema. The MSM and swamp creatures will fight that tooth and nail, and will be justifyingly ridiculed and called out when they do so.

I haven't lived in Oklahoma for quite a while but from what I remember he was pretty conservative. This isn't what you would expect to hear from him. Makes me wonder if he isn't playing part of some kind of DC game here.
