Perry's finally speaking out so he can draw attention to the political actions of progressive District Attorney Jose Garza.

Daniel Perry, a former Army Sergeant who was granted a full pardon by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, is speaking out for the first time since he fatally shot an armed BLM protester during the summer of 2020.

Jose Garza is just as evil as Adolf Hitler. They both share the same anti-civilization philosophy. It is not surprising at all that Garza's primary financial backer actually helped round up Jewish people during the Holocaust for Adolf Hitler, and now calls it "the happiest time of his life" and says if he didn't do it then someone else would.

" "My entire belief system of the justice system was destroyed…"

Mine too.

This guy shouldn't have spent more than two hours at the police station describing what happened. It's scary that defending yourself can get you stuck in prison for 13 months praying for an executive pardon.

Garza is a POS. Austin Democrats deserve everything coming their way.

The second shooter left three bullet holes in Perry's vehicle and has since been identified by authorities, who have determined that the person acted criminally. However, Perry said the DA's office has refused to prosecute the shooter another suspect decision from Garza.
That is infuriating

"I broke up with my fiance, because I thought I was never going to see her again. I told her that I cannot provide her the family that she deserves, so she needed to move on and find a husband who can help her raise a family. That was the hardest thing I ever had to do."
Imagine defending yourself and then a district attorney campaigning on the fact that he's going to get you, and then ruining your life like this.

Quote:

Perry also noted how Garza and his office have taken actions against him that he feels are both politically motivated and personal. In one instance, Perry believes Garza's office was behind the push to get him a less-than-honorable discharge from the military.

"The district attorney got involved with my discharge process to ensure that I wouldn't get an honorable discharge," he said. "I wish I still had a copy of my discharge packet. There was a letter with the official 'District Attorney of Travis County' letterhead on it stating that the government's statements about me being innocent were just political and that I am, in fact, a convicted murderer."
Perry's attorney, Doug O'Connell, said that the move to discharge Perry after the conviction was "wildly premature," noting that there was still a motion for a new trial pending and there was no formal paperwork labeling Perry as guilty, Military Times reported. Moreover, the initial police report labeled Foster's death a "justified homicide."

"He won the conviction," Perry said of Garza. "He didn't have to take the extra step to make sure that all my military benefits would be stripped away from me. My unit, they tried their hardest to make sure that I would stay in so there's a place for me to return, but the Army legal office got involved and took it out of their hands."
Going scorched earth in retaliation. Garza is one vindictive MFer

Leftest trash media also made this situation much worse. APD should have been allowed to control the streets.

Garza is your typical Soros DA targeting Police and those exercising self defense while not prosecuting real crimes.

The Democrats own this. There was a legitimate Democrat Primary challenger to Garza, but Beto, Abortion Barbie, Lloyd Doggett, and Greg Cesar all endorsed Garza and the useful idiots did as they're told.

Garza won both the primary and the general elections by a 2 to 1 margin. Austin gets what it deserves.

Fugitt said he was ordered to remove almost all exculpatory evidence that would have helped Perry.
What?? All the DA's pay and any pension should be taken for that alone. There needs to be consequences to any confirmed cases of an official suppressing exculpatory evidence. The penalty needs to be severe enough to deter it.

I'm ready to see some of these rouge DA's thrown in jail! Sadly our justice system is run by lawyers, and most of them feel they have blanket immunity to do whatever they want!

A really good, 30+ year friend of mine, was the first assistant to the head of the Texas Rangers. Last few years of his career he was the DPS Regional Director for the region that included Travis County.

Early in Garza's tenure my friend requested a meeting with Garza. Garza would only meet via a Zoom call and only on the condition that all questions be submitted to him in writing prior to the meeting. My friend said screw that and refused those conditions.

About 2 years later he finally got an in person meeting with Garza. On the way home from that meeting he called me and said there was no "meeting" to it. It was just a talking to about how he (Garza) was going to prosecute every LE officer he could, especially ones with DPS.

Not much if anything they do is criminal. In the last two years 2 elected DAs have been removed from office for being incompetent. Actually both resigned on the eve of their jury trials to remove them. One was in El Paso County and the other Nueces County. I was an expert witness against the DA in Nueces County. Any private citizen can start the process of removing an elected DA. PROBLEM is it takes a jury trial to get that done. And with Garza winning re-election by such a wide margin it is unlikely a Travis County jury would remove him.

Now that we are playing the tsips again, my wife and I have already had the discussion about whether we will go to Austin to watch the Aggies play. I have not missed an Aggie/tu FB game in Austin since 1980. But probably will not set foot back in Austin.

As said many times , Travis County gets what they vote for.

took me a minute to realize this was about the former soldier in austin from 2020, and not the one in NYC who stood up to a thug on the subway and is in prison for it. just 2, is too common for me.

Well you were also disappointed that the assassins bullet didn't kill Trump, so it's not surprising you'd support an absolute scumbag DA.

When you win election and re-election by a 2:1 margin that's not getting run out of town. If people don't like it maybe they're the ones who need to find another town.

No, it isn't, you are correct. If saying the whole city voted by that margin and it wasn't a product of one of those "built in win" council seat type votes, then it changes things. If that's what the city wants, then so be it.

What were you doing behind closed doors with a judge and the DA if it didn't have to do with defending an accused criminal against his office? Not questioning your truthfulness, just curious how this could have transpired.

I wasn't. The info came from someone in the office that doesn't get involved in politics. Austin is heavy dems no matter the lunacy. Keep in mind, Austin is the same city that thinks using state troopers for traffic violations is an attack against its citizens.
