Is this why Rep. Jasmine Crockett lost her mind in committee earlier today?

Glad to see this out of committee, but assuming it passes the House there is no way it gets through the Senate and get's signed by Biden. I guess it sets the table for bringing it up again post inauguration next year where it should pass.

Yes, it will be brought up again next session so it can pass the Senate.

Only if the dem senators in vulnerable seats want to be taken to task on holding up this bill. A good senate majority leader can find some votes for cloture if he knows where to apply pressure.
