Me also. We visited Japan two summers ago and our itinerary was cut short by a typhoon. Only had a couple of days in Tokyo, then had our plans for Mt. Fuji and Osaka/Kyoto canceled. Most of our sightseeing was on Kyushu. After docking in Kumamoto, we took a shinkansen to ***uoka for a day, then had a day in Kagoshima for our final stop on the Japan leg of our cruise. (As a samurai history buff, I highly recommend Kagoshima.) Ate sushi everywhere along the way. We saw a little bit of Shibuya, but missed out on Shinjuku and all the anime robot electronic weirdness. Exactly. Asians are weird. Especially the westernized ones.
Regardless, Japan is a bucket list visit for me.
