Isn't the Vatican it's own little city/state? What's the problem? Let it become a sanctuary city or let the Pope be exposed as just another leftist hypocrite when he becomes personally affected by the policies he espouses and guilts Italians into accepting.

I am not Roman Catholic.... but I say 'our Father' prayer every week.

My prayers don't get me into heaven. They are an outward expression towards the Triune God of my faith in him.

It's by Jesus Grace alone that I, a wretch, am given salvation, and were predestined to be a believer by God even before the foundations of the Earth were laid (Eph 1:6-13).

And though the Pope is in error on many things, there are MANY MANY Catholics that also understand that their salvation is in Christ alone.

May God one day give the Roman Church a Pope that is not making declarative errors like Francis has.

I believe that eccumenism is an inevitability..... but it must come through all parties discerning the truth through scripture.... and by no other means.

Yes it is, but why would the Italians not simply deport the immigrants themselves?

This isn't like in the US where a state like Texas or Florida has to bear the brunt of the policies supported by politicians from areas that don't have to bear the brunt of the policies they set, as when Texas or Florida relocate the immigrants to places like Martha's Vineyard in order to share the burden of the policies those politicians put in place.

The Vatican has zero sway over immigration policy in Italy, and is in no way responsible for Italy's immigration problems. That's Italy's government or the EU government.
