Start by filling the press corps with podcasters and non traditional media. The MSM is becoming a fossil. Treat it as such.

FWIW, the economy probably IS slowing. Theres a strong chance of a recession next year. A lot of the technical charts are predicting it and have for a while. It's simply a product of years of high inflation and the elevated interest rates which are used to combat it.

That doesn't mean things have been good during the Biden years. A lot of people have been slowly sinking for years and their heads are finally starting to dip under the surface. The stock market has been anticipating this and reacting to it as far back as July - not a Trump win but just a recession, regardless of who won.

There is also some concern that Trump's populist policies will exacerbate the inflation issue. These are valid concerns. Not because he's a Republican, but because he favors tariffs. And juicing the economy via tax cuts while it's still recovering could have a similar inflationary effect.

Again, that doesn't mean Kamala was the better choice. They both would have brought their own unique complications.

When did I ever say it's booming? We've been on a down hill slide (or at least setting up for one) for a while and it'll extend past the election. This is fact. We will be lucky to avoid recession and it has nothing to do with who got elected.

Not only that, but they remain the greatest enemy of any American not of the policy making elite level. Their determination to continue to sow division, racism, identity and class warfare themes even in defiance of parts of the center left going against them after the election show this. They and Ivy academics remain the main sources of all that negativity.

The WH should not cater to them. Would rather Trump given even Cenk a chance to be heard before MSNBC.
